Anybody having issues with Coral slots at the mo, King Kong cash/TED/Centurian/rockin respin/ top cat etc. Can't get any of them to complete a spin despite clearing cache/cookies/hisory on multiple browsers across multiple devices. They were all working a few days ago. Coral support are being chocalate teapots as usual

OK, I've started setting myself up for match betting - joined profitaccumulator and been through the tutorials, opened a coral account with a fiver and put another fiver in a betfair account I already had. Think I have enough of a basic understanding to get going, but have noticed that all off the current matches available on oddsmatching are <95% - not by much: 93/94% - should I wait until better options appear?

You're also likely to need more than £5 to cover your liability, especially when it comes to placing your free bets. This would cover the amount of money you would end up with in your bookie account if the bet wins there. The higher the odds, the higher the liability.

To get my head around it, the easiest way I found was to think of the money moving between your accounts. This worked example might also help. The calculators on Profit Accumulator will always tell much money your the liability will be. Took me a while to really twig though so I ended up trusting in it and then worked out what had happened after the event. Good luck!
The other way of looking at it is the 'back' bet is you being a normal punter and the 'lay' bet you being the bookie. If you place a back bet @ 3/1 (4.0) you expect the bookie to pay you out 3x your bet plus your stake back (that is the 4.0 - winnings plus stake). So you back £10 but the bookie has a lay 'liability' of £30 and they give you your £10 back. If the bet wins you get £30 profit, and they make £30 loss. If it loses you lose £10 and they make £10 profit. Of course when you are being the bookie and using an exchange they take a cut of your profit (5% @ Betfair, 2% @ Smarkets)
