At 22 I am still living at home - much to my parents delight!

Having gotten a bit fed up of low interests rates on savings accounts I started looking for other ways to boost my savings for a house deposit and came across The Money Shed.

I have since set up account with quite a few websites and apps and in my first 2 days have made a grand total of £2.31...

I'm of course not expecting to afford a mortgage from money making sites alone, but every little helps.
Any tips much apprectiated :)

Hiya

Don't for one minute think you can't get a mortgage with online earnings alone!

MANY people do :)

Just don't mention Matched Betting - it really confuses banks....they just hear 'betting' and log a 'reckless and dangerous' flag against your application*

Thanks,

The Reverend

*this may not actually be true, but the don't like lending to people who have loads of cash going out to bookies.....

I ended up being quite busy over the weekend, so my total is only up to about £6.50.
Hopefully with a bit more effort put in after work I can boost that throughout the rest of this week.

Can anyone recommend any ways to earn larger amounts in one go please? Other than matched betting - I feel like I wanted to get into the swing of things a bit more before I try that.

I am currently signed up with StreetBees (haven'y had any paid tasks yet), Spare 5, Job Spotter, Swagbucks, Prolific Academic (haven't had any paid task yet) and Populus Live.

Thanks - I have applied for Leapforce so I will wait to hear back from them!

I will look into the other 2 as well, out of interest, how many hours work a month are you looking at doing on these sites to earn that much?

Well you get paid by the hour that I can't disclose as it's under NDA but I will say it's way above the UKs minimum wage :)

As I'm not optimistic of being that productive over the weekend, I thought I'd give a total update now instead.

I have earned a little over £15 - certainly not getting me a mortgage anytime soon, but at least now I can feel a little less bad about having a couple of drinks down the pub after work.
It is worth adding that all of this has come from very low return source e.g. surverys and clickworker, so really I don't think that's too bad for odd jobs I've done whilst sat in front of the TV :)

As mentioned above I'm hoping to get approved on some better earning platforms soon

What you have to remember is it all adds up. When i started out I was making £50 a week, then £100 a week, then it built up :) Now I make a couple of full-time wages online with my blog and online money making avenues.

Totaling about £30 now - but lost out on potentially a lot more by not reading the instructions properly on the JobSpotter app :(

I noticed a load of job adverts in shop window whilst I was out running some errands, so I took photos thinking I would upload them to the app later.
Gutted when I got home and realised you had to take the photos in the app so they could geo-tag it!

May try again if I'm in town again next week
