I'm just wondering how many people do online surveys and if so, what sites/apps do you use?

What is the best sites you have found that pay the best prices?

Thank you.

Prolific tends to be the highest paying.

The surveys usually pay around the minimum wage, and you get a warm fuzzy feeling because you're helping academic research.

Populous Live are the only ones i bother with, they pay quite well and you dont get screened out of many, ones like Prolific Academy, Streetbees etc you get screened out (or i do) 99.9% of the time

Theoretically Prolific screen you before you get a survey invite.

If accept a survey in your dashboard then you should always be able to complete it. Something sounds wrong if you're being screened out during a survey - might be worth contacting Prolific if this is happening to you.

Should have been clearer meant screened out before being offered, in 3 years i have had one invite from Prolific, and pay was far lower than Populus ones i do, streetbees is pointless, every one tried gets screened out (usually after 30 odd questions LOL)

You cannot wait for invites! You have to check it daily, takes all of 30 seconds. They will not email you unless they have a huge number of participants required.

I do Prolific, Populus, Yougov and have just started with Testable Minds. Prolific gives me the highest number of surveys but it will be due to my profile fitting their studies. I do find that I need to be quick to accept surveys from most sites as the studies get filled up pretty quickly.

@mabozza you want to get yourself a page monitor set up for Prolific. I can easily get £20-30 a week, with minimal times, thanks to a page monitor (when I bother).

I do the three P's: Populous, Prolific and Pinecone. Gave up on the others for low pay and too many screen outs.

I can't get onto Pinecone's panel. I think they blacklisted me for trying too many times!

I do Populus, Prolific, Surveybods and Yougov. It's a good mix for being paid well and having interesting questions.

Interested to see what Testable is like. Do you need a .ac.uk email addy?

No, you don't need an ac email. The link is https://minds.testable.org

@mabozza it is like a wee add on/extension for your browser which will automatically monitor a site. I use "Prolific Assistant" on my Chrome browser which checks Prolific every minute in case there are new surveys. I just leave my laptop on and then if a survey pops up, an alert which says "new surveys available on Prolific" is announced. It means I don't need to monitor/keep checking Prolific...I do find that I need to be quick to get on to a Prolific survey as they are snapped up pronto! If you use Chrome, you can just get the Prolific Assistant from Google Play - it is free.

I don't like doing long surveys on a mobile phone and I was not accepted by pine cone. I like prolific best but also do one poll for a couple of pounds a month. The surveys are very short and read as though they have been written by teenagers. I also look to see if Qmee have any short surveys.

Sorry for the delay - I see someone has helped now anyway :)

Definitely worth having to catch the best paying surveys!

I've used prolific.ac which seems to be decent. Their privacy policy specifically states that they don't sell your data or share it unnecessarily with third-parties so there's that if you care about that sorta thing.
