I don't if anyone still on this project......

So far at least I have studied more than 450 pages material......
been asked to review guideline twice (if I don't confirm it they blocked my account for rating).....

They still keep adding different task, and every time through a 100 page guideline........

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of Lionbridge's renewal process? I've worked for Leapforce in the past and was always renewed before I chose to leave. I'm with Lionbridge now and coming to the end of my years contract. I know they never used to renew anyone on their 11 month contracts but this does seem to have changed. Are they usually pretty good at renewing raters with good scores? Struggling to find any information and there's not a great community for LB raters like there is at LF.

Hiya

The last I read online was that the 11 month thing has gone now and they keep people on (reviews depending obvs!)

Do you have an email address you can contact them on and ask at all? Usually with WSE work 'no news is good news' as they say!

I don’t know what project you are on, but map project just asked to accept a new T&C....... I was not working much for last two month, Lucy they still did not kick me out. I have too much project on uTest so don’t really have any more time.

Thanks for replying. Yeah they're pretty good at replying to emails so I will maybe get in touch nearer the time. My contract doesn't end for a few weeks yet and all scores have been fine so hoping it will be okay. First renewal is always a bit scary though isn't it.

Hey, I'm a LB map analyst. Interested in the comments here, are there other projects/companies that do pay more? Fed up of the terrible pay. I have other jobs these days so not sure why I keep hanging on with LB. I kind of like the work I suppose! Been doing it nearly a year. Not really able to commit too many hours a week though.

Have you done WSE work for LB or LF? That tends to pay a heck of a lot more with no commitment hours wise!

Anyone know if you are allowed to work for more than one of them? For example WSE @Leapforce and social media evaluator @Appen - both current roles on websites.

Thanks, what is it about WSE work that makes it better paid than map work. Is it boring/more difficult? Not sure I have the energy for all the Lionbridge studying again.

It’s paid by the hour and way above the U.K. minimum wage

There is a 3 part exam before you join so it is a fair bit of work to get “through the door”

Thanks, might keep an eye out. Do you think it would make a difference to me working on Lionbridge. Are places ok with doing both?

As long as you are not doing WSE for both it should be fine :)

Hi, I'm looking at Leapforce. They ask for 1hr a day for 5 days in a week. Are they really strict on this, is there chance to add in vacation time etc?

I have reading through some of the "social" comments on Leapforce, and many people have been saying that Nile only lasts for 12-18 months and you're never allowed to partake again.

Is anyone able to confirm this? While it doesn't surprise me it is a bit of a bummer - and I have applied for other projects such as Yukon but it always appears to just stagnate and then eventually it reverts back to "qualify" again.

Thank you!

I've not worked for Leapforce for a while not but when I was working on project Yukon and Nile got offered alongside it I don't remember it having an end date of any kind.
