Hello everyone,

Its probably been said before, but I want to start my blog on Monday when I get some money in.

I want to know what is the overall start up cost including any plugins that are recommended?

I am going to also use HostPresto as my wordpress hosting site. is it also easy to design the website or do you need to know how to code HTML or CSS? or is it a matter of looking at some themes?

Also any help with SEO and driving more clicks would be fabulous.

I have already thought of some good topics

Thanks for any help on this

Regards

Callum

Hi @Calmander

I've covered many of your questions over at Totally Blogging which takes you from setting up your blog through to earning the absolute most you can from it.

In terms of design you don't have to worry. All the templates (there are thousands available) are all drag'n'drop style with maybe a bit of tweaking of the code if that's the way you want to go.

Cost wise, Other than hosting + domain there isn't really a whole lot you NEED to spend. Plugins etc are 99.9% free ;)
