I think I might of hit a snag.

So I signed up for 888 sport partaking in some of the MB signup offers and done the qualifying offer involving bet '£10 get £30 free bets'. I did the initial bet to trigger the bonus and 2/3 bets have come through.

Here's the thing

I use an online debit card and they don't seem to have a swift/IBAN code

Three questions.

1. Can I use another account other than the one I used originally with the above swift/IBAN code details to make a withdrawal.

2. If I can't do question one, what's the easiest way to get money from bookmaker to exchange

3. Is there a way of finding out this information prior to sign up as don't wish to encounter problem again with another bookmaker.

Thank you everyone

1 can’t see why not
2 bet on something with high ish odds and a low qualifying loss and lose the money into the exchange
3 - are you using a regular U.K. debit card for your matched betting?

Hi Jon

I'm using a Monzo mastercard debit card at the minute.

With the second point I'm assuming betting on a game with the underdogs on bookmaker and laying favourites with exchange?

Because of the money laundering regulations some bookies won't let you withdraw using another method/account until you have withdrawn at least as much as you have deposited using the first method.

Fingers crossed.

I used my Barclays details about 10 minutes ago and it seems to of authorised. Got a confirmation email as well.

sorry just spotted this.

I've only ever used a regular debit card with them and have never had an issue. Is there any chance you could just use one going forward or is there a particular reason why you need to use a mastercard?

Replied by email like an idiot. Sorry whoever gets the emails.
It’s debit MasterCard. I opened an N26 account to use for betting transactions.

No offers for signing up. Wouldn’t recommend them over monzo but keeps all my matched betting in one place and doesn’t look like I’m an addict to where I normally bank.

So are you saying you haven't actually tried to do a withdrawal yet? If you have money in the bookie why not give it a try and just do £5 worth or something

So to update. Can’t withdraw to that card. Had to top up with visa to then withdraw to that.

You'll find a lot of places have issues with Mastercard. Not only bookies either, Exchanges like Matchbook get funny about it too. It's all to do with Money Laundering I think.

I'll just use it to deposit then another method to withdraw.
