I'm afraid I'm watching all the Peaky Blinders series in readiness for the new season. In need of some Cillian Murphy on these wintry evenings .

Well the handmaids tale is back on Channel 4 on Sundays so I'm watching that?

A lot of people seem to be raving about Chernobyl - Should I be watching that as well?

I saw the first Handmaids Tale of the new series. A nice start. Years and Years has been good but a bit worrying and I have been enjoying Gentleman Jack.

Recently my thing has been the American Shameless on Netflix. I was really against watching UK to American conversions but loved the Office (US). Even then, I couldn't imagine how American Shameless could work.

Surprisingly it mostly did. The first series has quite a lot of the UK storylines then it goes its own way after that. Lots of shocking moments, some laughs in it too.

Another one for years and years. A cautionary tale or a prediction for the future, scary stuff.

Britbox has launched today in the UK

Seems like there are LOT of old series coming off Netflix and onto this with brand new shows coming in 2020

it's fine saying get rid of the TV / Sky payments but you can end up spending more on these subscription services than you were on the former!

All the time I have to pay a licence fee to receive television pictures I refuse to pay any extra for this or any of the other numerous subscription TV services.

Stopped paying licence fee this year and just watch netflix or amazon prime. Do miss just flicking through the channels til something catches my attention. But it also means I just watch what I want to watch and don't get sucked in to things!

Just finished 13 Reasons Why, all 3 seasons of it.

I'll have to check that out. Netflix is still my fave though.

Recently I have watched

Mindhunter
The Sinner S2
When They See Us
Dead to Me
Good Girls
Working Moms
Narcos

Has anyone watched any of the shows on Apple TV+ yet?

Apart from See and The Morning Show very little is appealing to me. I think it's only a matter of time before Apple buy a back catalogue of sorts as the appear of Disney+ is stuff like the entire Simpsons collection being on there so the Apple solution just looks very empty compared to that!

Nah I havent. I think the problem with apple is it will be mainly american focused shows focused on the mass market. Not sure they have skills to do TV but i'm show they will throw loads of money at it!
