Betfred usually have a preview evening on the Sunday before Cheltenham festival, I think it's between like 6pm to 9pm - check Twitter over the next week.

Also, Betfred will offer some Cheltenham boosts on Saturday 8th March during the bonus period 9.30am to 11.00am.

Aye you do need quite a big bankroll to take advantage of all the offers but even if you don't there is still £££ to be made!!

Hi,

Can anyone help me with Cheltenham. It seems like a could be a pretty good money making opportunity from what I have read but I'm very new to matched betting and I cant quite work out how to apporach it. I want to get my head around it before next week. Can anyone simplify it in some way- what are the best profit making approaches.

I also don't have a bet 365 account yet- should I do the offer this week so it's up and running?

Cheers for any advice- it's a lot to get your head around!

We don't know all the offers available yet so it's hard to be specific.

Your matched betting provider will email you every morning with the offers to do and how to do them. You just simply follow the instructions like you would do with any other offer!

I'm in exactly the same boat as you.

That's good to know, thanks John. The offers look really good, just unsure how to tackle them.

Have you done the bet365 welcome offer yet? It seems like its a good one to have but a lot to get through before next week!

Hi there,
I just started MB last Friday and have been slowly working my way through the new customer offers on PA. I have made about £50 so far so am really pleased!
I have been reading lots of threads about the upcoming Cheltenham festival and am now wondering whether I should save my horseracing new customer offers so I can use them that week - or should I spend a couple of day this week familiarising myself with the horse racing side of MB - I have heard lots of terms that at the moment mean nothing to me so I feel I have a lot to learn!

Also, I only have about £150 in my exchange account so far, which sounds peanuts compared to what I see a lot of people talking about! I guess I probably won't make my fortune at Cheltenham this year, but any tips on what I should concentrate on this time around would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Hi,you'll have to focus on the low hanging fruit for Cheltenham and have lots of horses in the same race to combine liabilities. So for the 1.30 race on Tuesday 12th March (the Supreme Novices Hurdle) you could do skybet, betway, netbet, Coral etc.
But £150 is a really small float for Cheltenham.
Can you enter some free spins promos in the mean time to increase your bankroll?
Then next year you'll be able to smash it.

Regards welcome offers, it's up to you really. If you hold off you'll miss reload offers, but then you need the bankroll to do all the offers.

Most of them are simple backing and laying, then hoping for a refund/free bet to trigger.
Give me an example and I'll explain how to tackle it.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. I will have a read up on the combining liabilities by having lots of horses thing - I need to get my head around what that really is!
I'm also not sure what free spins promos are either ... I really am a bit green aren't I!
I will have a look on my PA dashboard to see if I can see them.

Cheers!

Combining liabilities at the exchange is when you've layed lots of horses in the same market, it takes the largest liability and offsets the other liabilities against that - meaning less overall bankroll needed on that particular market.

Have a look under promotions for all your accounts for free spins offers. Similarly, Totesport have a refund on losses to £5 on games. I'm sure Skybet, Coral, Ladbrokes and others have free spins offers regularly.

I'm sure PA will have all the offers in a daily calendar.

Best wishes
