Hi Guys,

I'm Ian. Around 5 years ago I was earning £50-£100 a month with Leapforce and a Mystery Shopper company whilst I was redundant. I enjoyed the work but found it time consuming and poorly paid for the time required. I recently tried Task360 and Field Agent but the tasks were few and far between and never seemed to come up at a time when I could do them. I work from home a few days a week so the plan is to use my non-commuting time more constructively with the hope of clearing £200-£300 per month using Matched Betting and Prolific.

Prolific has started well (£6 worth of studies in the first two days but I realise it's luck of the draw whether you are able to register for the study before it fills up the subscription limit.

I started Matched Betting on Sunday and have a profit from my first free bets in the bag (£16). The next free bets should complete on Saturday and then I'll look at the next offer as my liability on the upcoming bets is currently taking the bulk of my starting capital.

No doubt I'll be tapping people up for advice as I go along!

Thanks for setting up the site Jon.
:)
FYI you won’t ever find any work on task360 as they no longer exist!!

Hello,

I have just joined but have lurked for quite a while trying to get some inspiration (which I have found by the bucketload!). I took the plunge on Friday and opened an account with PA to start matched betting. I have completed the BetFred qualifier and just waiting for the footy to finish to see the fruits of my first free bet! I have also opened my Smarkets account and placed my first bet on the Premier League offer ... so hopefully by tonight I should have made my first little bit of profit! :)

I also updated my cv and applied for a Web Search Evaluator job with Appen ... not sure how that will pan out, but happy to wait and see.

I have read a lot about Roamler and BeMyEyes - so might have a look at downloading the apps later. Do I just sign up, or do I need some sort of referral for them?

My main aim is to start generating some additional income in order to pay off an outstanding loan and to then start making additional payments on our mortgage to try and reduce the term. And if there is a little bit left over, I would dearly love to have a little holiday this year without spending each day "bean counting" to make sure we have enough cash to last!

All in all, I have decided that 2019 is going to be a good year - as for one reason and another it hasn't started so well - but am determined to turn it around!

Thanks Jon and all the posters who have given me lots of things to think about .. I thought it was about time I stepped out of the shadows!

Sounds like you already have a good plan of attack as you seem to be doing and applying for lots of high paying work

With bemyeye and Roamler you don’t need a referral link from memory so you should be fine to just sign up and push on with them :)

Thanks Jon - I have been doing lots of reading up, so I'm glad you think it's a good plan!

I have just downloaded the Roamler app but if I try and sign up without an activation code, it uses my location and says that it already has enough Roamler's in my area :-(

Hi my name is Amy i'm from Wales. I started doing online surveys, swagbucks, gifthulk etc a few years ago and i also do the receipt apps. I dont do the surveys so much anymore find it a bit tedious plus i'm a gamer so that gets in the way a bit lol. But am looking into this matched betting, i'm a bit scared of that o_O. This site seems nice enough and hope it helps me with the matched betting and i hope to help others :)

Hi Amy, I'm new here too, Ive picked up some great ideas so far. Have to admit I'm yet to try Matched betting, sounds way too confusing to me!

One thing I have done tho is tried several survey sites. The only one I liked & stuck with was Prolific Academic, so much so I've put a link below (feel free to use it). If you havent tried them do give them a go I find the surveys v interesting & I like helping with the research.

Hi all,

I'm Becky: I've been a lurker here until deciding I should probably get involved. :) I enjoy the process of saving money and I found this site when I was making sure I was using all the good cashback apps! I've started doing other simple tasks by recommendation from this forum (like Jobspotter) and am looking to branch out. As a few people have said, I also suffer from anxiety, so would like to do some of the missions/tasks from apps like StreetBees/BeMyEye but scared that I might look really strange doing it/be challenged by the store! :O

Anyway, hello!
If you stick your earphones in people barely pay you any attention. I've only ever been stopped once in store. If they're shoppers they are too busy with their own shopping, and if they're employees they've usually got too much work to do!

Alright folks, yerauldda here with a short introduction. I am a full time student studying toward a degree online and fully from home and a father to five wonderful children. I need to still earn though and taking a normal run of the mill job just doesn't suit my life at the present time. I need to find other ways to earn hence my joining this great site.

I stumbled upon this place by accident and was immediately intrigued. I currently do matched betting (1 month so far) and have made a good wee bit from that and learned a lot doing sign up offers and football betting mostly. Yet to get into the horses so am unsure how well I will do with Cheltenham with an £800 float??

I downloaded BeMyEye after reading a bit about it in here last night and got a mission this morning worth £4 at my local Chemist. Easy enough, all I had to do was go in and ask about some stuff and report it in the app. I don't know how many missions I will be able to get from this but was nice to get one on my first day and I'm already looking forward to many more.

If anyone has any tips for a newbie like me just reply and let me know, I will be forever grateful.

Regards

Yerauldda

So after keeping an eye on the mystery shopper/tasks apps and websites, I managed to do my first task!

It was from Grass Roots, for £10. Even better was that it was to go swimming, which I love doing so was excited to try somewhere new.

The mission itself was absolutely fine - assess cleanliness, info that the team provides when you buy a session, and look at the goggles in the shop. The form was easy to complete, just waiting on a response from them now. :)

Hi @Claudia92

Apart from surveys is there anything else you've ventured into when it comes to earning money online?

Hi guys,
My name is Ally, I live way up in the North of Scotland where there isnt much employment opportunities and I live with my fiance and my puppy.
My wedding is next year and I've tried a few things to earn some extra pennies; surveys, feedback, etc and have only gotten so far.
I'm hoping to gain my access code for Roamler as I've heard this is a great way to earn something extra?
Any other suggestions or are advice are totally welcome however :)
Look forward to hearing from you guys x
