Yeah, I think they did a similar thing with me last year @Castro, I got less than the 7 days - the offer usually finishes JUST BEFORE Cheltenham, to reel you in and then you either have to decide quickly to stay or go - very crafty!

I'm on PA currently and one thing I'm noticing is the amount of times I have to alert them that the Oddsmatching tool isn't working. It seems several times a week that there are issues with either no bets appearing for a particular bookie or that one sport has disappeared completely. These aren't filter errors as clearing filters and selecting just the bookie brings up zilch! I also notice that match catcher only seems to catch the bigger bookies so isn't useful lower down the list as you're going through the offers and finally the availability filter lets lots of options through below the limit you set.

The administrators are great and respond as quickly as they can but I feel they are sometimes overwhelmed or overstretched.

Does OddsMonkey suffer the same issues?

Why not pay the £1 and take advantage of our 7 day offer with oddsmonkey and see how you find it.

My experience with “bottom feeder” bookies is that the data they supply tends to be crap sometimes no matter which matched betting company you use lol

The oddsmatchers will sometimes suffer due to bad data feeds from the bookies.

I find the odds matching software one of the main benefits of a subscription, particularly for the horses, but they'll never be perfect.

I find the OM oddsmatcher to be cr*p at times - a bone of contention with me as the main reason I joined up is to help me find (and be able to place) bets quicker and easier and I think you shouldn't have to keep double-checking it yourself. Abit like buying a dog and then barking yourself :(

Quite a few times the bookie or exchange odds are different, even when constantly refreshing every few seconds. I've only just started noticing this, so goodness knows how many I might have missed as a 'newbie'.

Sometimes if the exchange odds keep constantly changing and you click on 'okay' to see the new odds, it just keeps repeating those two steps all the time, making it impossible to even place a bet.

If you get to the point of being able to 'custom lay' your bets then beware if you use the profit tracker as it often changes the profit amount to a loss amount for my free bets, and I have to re-position the pointer for it to show the correct amount again before tracking it (this does NOT affect your bet in anyway, just gives incorrect amounts for tracking your profit/loss).

Finally, I don't understand it fully but they have "a hard limit to the number of match odds results we store", so that even if you filtered it to show higher SNR (free bet ratings) instead of Rating (%) - these would not always show on the matcher if the equivialent Rating (%) was too low, especially at weekends.
"we have a maximum limit on the number of results we store per market based on the normal rating. This will often mean that good SNR results are pushed down due to their poor normal ratings.
There is less of a problem with other markets like correct scores and horses. "

I've literally just paid for a full PA month. Most of the research i've done doesn't show much difference and I read somewhere that they all use the software that OM created anyway. If that's the case then support becomes a greater consideration.

It's not just bottom feeder bookies. Sometimes it's bookies that should be on a stable platform.

I like the videos and explanations but for me, what you're paying for is the tools so yes the oddsmatching software has to be what sells it to you. I don't expect it to be perfect and I anticipate some feed lag but I don't expect to see nothing and then when it's fixed for all the back odds to switch to zero within a couple of seconds. I gave up trying to place bets last night. Managed to get one in tonight but within the time it took to copy the lay and paste it into the exchange the odds had changed - fortunately by only a tiny amount

They don’t use the same software
PA Use totally propitiatory software they created a few years back
