Was anyone else on the UCI/ Zeya project. Have been on it since October but was told today I am no longer needed after Sunday :-(
Was a shame as it was a good earner.
Me. Gutted about it because it was basically my full-time income.
Hope we get paid for April. I have no way of checking my hours are right now that they moved platform.
Hopefully something else will come up soon.
I can use the metrics. They juat no longer upload them into appen global as they moved over to leapforce platform on april 1.You will still get paid for the hours you've done. I've had a project end before and didn't have a problem with payment.
When you say you can't check your hours do you mean for last month or this month? You should just be able to use user metrics either way.
I get invitation, but didnt pass test. Not sure if I am going to retake it, did not understand rules :/ Did you pass?Anyone on the Java project?

Anyone applied for Pec wan? I tried to do it but having issues with the email verfication
Hey @Jute(Sorry for the longish post but) I've been looking at this thread and now I'm worried. I've been waiting for months to get onto one of Leapforce/Appen's projects and the other day, I happened to go onto the site and saw Project Fletcher. I applied and within minutes had been accepted (alert) without any sort of exam/test requirement. Then yesterday, I got a 'start now' type email with instructions to download the Appen Mobile Recorder app and do 800+ speech collection things for $50 by 1 May. They also claim that it should only take about 3 hours (I've never done this before so I don't know if that's even vaguely accurate or not).
Oddly, now when I log-in to my account with them, or follow the link in the email for guidance notes, I can't get into the projects page or make the link work on my 'active process' type bit of the page. I've tried on 2 of my devices, 2 of my husband's, 2 different browsers and cleared my cache. I've also emailed them twice (as it advises me to do in the email) but haven't had a reply.
So, my question is, if I upload all this via the app, will I be wasting my time re payment? Has anyone else been having trouble with their web-page or have problems getting anyone to answer emails at all please?
Thank-you Jon - but when you've uploaded it (and I'm assuming that's what you do at the end), what happens then? I ask because, if the project gets completed but I cannot now get any sense out their website, then I cannot monitor any progress re payment, or (as is happening at the moment) get anyone to talk to me. Have you found them hard to contact?Hey @Jute
Hope you are well.
The voice recording project you've signed up to doesn't require any sort of exam or test, you just get straight on with it. I've not done this one myself but in the past when I've done similar ones you just went to a site on your mobile device and then ploughed through the phrases.
From memory there were no acknowledgement throughout the task. You would just keep recording everything and when you get to the end hope they have been verified OK and then you got paid (via paypal or Payoneer, I forget which)Thank-you Jon - but when you've uploaded it (and I'm assuming that's what you do at the end), what happens then?
