As Topaz says, yeah, many are within minutes, i have 2 that have been waiting well over 2 weeks now... on that, just did a very decent one that still had 30 pl;aces left £3 to play a button pressing game, with possibility to make more by making correct decisions...get in there guys

Anyone get paid through Circle? I just got an email saying Circle Pay was closing and to withdraw my cash. Think the other payment method is PayPal but it charges fees if I'm remembering rightly?

Who told you circle pay was closing? There's nothing on their website about it. I was about to cash out to them but won't if they are having problems. The only other option is paypal where there is a fee.

I cashed out my prolific money today and have just had an email from Circle Pay as well. I've just contacted Prolific to see if a/ they know already and b/ what will be the alternative to Paypal

Poor show that they haven't emailed me or updated their website then. Did the cashout go though ok @Jute ?

I've got over £20 in prolific so not sure whether to risk one last cashout to circle or play safe and stump up the paypal fee

As a valued customer, who has been using this product to send and receive money, we would like to provide some critical information to help you navigate this change over the next few weeks and months.


What do I need to do now?

If you have money in your Circle Pay account, we encourage you to cash out to your card or bank account immediately. Once your balance is zero, we will automatically close your account. Circle Invest, Poloniex and SeedInvest customers are not affected by these changes.

I got the same email too and agree it looked genuine to me so yes I'd advise all to empty their account ASAP.

Not heard from Prolific as to whether they'll be changing the fees to cashout to paypal seeing as that's the only option now.

I've just had an email back from Prolific and they've just become aware of this and are apparently in touch with Circle to discuss. They're hoping to advise re what they're doing/what to do asap, when they know more.

It really does vary with them I find (well it's the client, not Prolific!). As others have said some can be 24hrs some can be literally weeks!!!

If you have some pending after weeks you can chase up as Prolific said a while back they'd stop people leaving them for months.

Yep again as stated anything from 3 hrs (which is the fastest I've had) to over two weeks. Bear in mind exams for uni's have just finished so therefore they might be a little behind, as they are preparing for Graduations. I'm guessing that most of the studies are academic and therefore this plays a role in when and how you could be credited. Prolific are brilliant. I've never had a problem with them, even when things don't seem to be going quite right they iron out the creases quickly. Best survey site on the internet if you ask me!

One thing i like about prolific is it's very interesting. I had a study recently where they wanted to know how much normal people know about science without looking for the answers... Throughout all the questions, my mind was blank... "What's an enzyme..." What's a substrate paryicle... Haha...

I have just experienced what I consider to be a screen out on a Prolific survey that I had accepted.

The survey went straight to 100% after I answered "No" to a particular question.

I have done lots of surveys with Prolific previous to this & never come across this, I was under the impression that you didn't get screened out after accepting the task.

Anyone else ever had this???

I’ve had that a handful of times. Usually if you choose the wrong box like how many hours you work a week or whatever.

I had the same thing yesterday. Can't remember what it said, but was something to do with an answer that I gave didn't match the study criteria, as set out on the start page. I was then asked to return the study.
