so i did used to have a blogspot that somehow had 1000 visitors but i didn't monitize that cos i didn't know how.. fast forward a couple years and now i bought a domain, hosting ect. and i built my Ecommerce store, plan to start blogging about music soon too. A few issues i've run into, i've done all the SEO and everything, got my sitemap on google serch console ect. but my site is nowhere to be found. all the keywords are the titles of the page and i've done everything correctly.

my site is themusicdrip.co.uk can you guys offer me suggestions on what to add/remove from the site? thanks for reading my litttle life story.

I'm not @Jon but I've got some suggestions

1) The 3 images that rotate on your front page are too lower quality. Its like it has the space for a 4k image but you are using photos taken on a 1999 nokia 3310. Either upload the HD/larger original images or find some that are appropriate which are of the correct pixel density.

2)"Music drippin' drum kickin" is probably kid speak but I expected a music website. But 2 of the 3 things on your site arent music.

3) There isn't enough content to get people there.

4) Why should I pay £25 for your 1 track?

5) I can't make out any detail on your tshirt.

I suppose the big question is, "What is your website for?"

Agree Jon's your man for this. But couple of observations from me.

I was expecting a music website. But it doesn't tell me anything about your music. In fact to be brutal, as it is, there is not much on there to review at all yet. I think you need to get some content up first before you start worrying about people finding it from google. Get the right content linked from the right places and people will find it.

I like the name, and the domain name.

The button in the middle of the page didn't link for me. I had to go to the dropdown at the top to access the shop. Which isn't great to be honest, one black t-shirt with no size options linked to a section called jackets and coats. Which doesn't have any jackets or coats. I get that it might just be for testing but you need to make sure things are in the right places right from the start or things can get messy quickly.

I like the background pictures as they make it clear what each section is for. They look like stock photos, so could you get higher res versions to make it look a bit more professional?

Fill it up with lots of good beats and samples and get your link out there to all the music websites and blogs that deal with that sort of thing. Once you have some blog posts of your own perhaps you could do some collaborative posts with other music blogger to advertise your site. Give out some discount codes for you shop.

Lots to do but you have some bare bones in place so its a starting point.

I haven't really got anything else to add as the above posters have said anything really

Work on content first, worry about promotion later....

You aren't buying the beat for personal use like you would for, say... Itunes. Your buying the beat lease which usually, people do sell non-exclusive leases for £30. A lot of people might undervalue their craft when they start but i already tried that in my fiverr days..

About what my site is supposed to be. I'm kind of stuck whether i want it to be a clothing store or a beat store... I don't think i can write a blog post with more then 100 words. In my english exams it would come to a question with 10 marks and 3 blank pages to use, but i think even then i only wrote 3 paragraphes about the topic including all the PEAL stuff.

I've deleted everything and decided to ONLY focus on blogging and selling beats. I asked a friend on instagram if i could write an article about him and he told me his whole how he got started and stuff but I'm unsure how to put it in my own words.

That sounds like an interesting take.

I recently updated the theme of my site and added my SoundCloud to the homepage. What do you guys think of the new design. Header looking a bit empty but gonna change that soon with a nice black n white logo. Dunno what to do with the text on the front page. Want some sort of call to action.

your header is a bit 'wordy'

However, content like this

I think may be a great thing to focus on. How can you get your music out there with no budget, experience, clue what you are doing etc.. You could write loads of guides!
