Thanks

I put it all down to the UKMB Give-away.

:)

Just need to at least maintain it, if not improve it. :)
Nah that was far too recent for MOZ to have picked it up plus Moz / Google hates “linkys” despite what you may have been told :)

Well months later i'm STILL stuck on 42.. Someone needs to invent a metric that doesn't take months to notice all the changes and updates those numbers on the fly!!

Moz seems to be crucifying people at the moment who run PBN (Private Blog Networks), ie they just ran banners or image widgets down the side that all just link to each others site. Seen a whole raft of people on Twitter in the last month or two complaining about drops of 10-15 points on their DA from out of nowhere and when you go to look at their site the sidebar is just littered with badges for 'I'm part of the Mum blogger Network' etc. type stuff

Why do moves at this level seem much harder? Is there more competition or are are guys in the 40's graded differently?
you know that's a very good point

the leap up to 20 odd was FAR quicker than the move in the 30s and 40s!

I can't keep up with Moz. I had 31. Moz freezes and comes back several days later and I have 26. Two weeks later I have 28. Yesterday gone back to 27. I don't understand  Doesn't help that my SEO is rubbish & I keep getting stuck on seemingly straightforward things like the HTTPS issue on all but my homepage. But still, I wish Moz would add to my points and not take them away. Pretty please.

I have to wonder whether Moz rankings really mean all that much. I don't think they do except for when brands say they want sites with DA over a certain number.

@The Reverend - That's good, well done on the increase because it's still moving forward even if it's not the number you'd thought. Celebrate the achievement! I think even staying still rather than moving down in DA is an achievement!

Hi Cazkins,

I am currently up to 27 on my DA so still moving in the right direction. Maybe I'll hit 30 this year? Who knows?

I am starting another site which has a DA of 1. Only way is up from there!

I've given up checking it tbh, it's just annoying. Working with an 'I charge what I charge' mentality from now on, DA be damned! lol
