I would take marketforce off that list tbh ... anyone's guess when they decide to pay!

Is it not still every 2 weeks once your shop has been approved?

Always used to be

It "should" be every couple of weeks but a lot of people no longer work for them as not only are their fees some of the lowest (and that's saying something) but recently they have experienced "issues" with their payment system which has resulted in late payments on multiple occasions. In fairness they say these issues are being resolved but with MSCs going out of business you have to be careful.

oh crikey! Which MSCs have gone out of business?!!

There is a race to the bottom as you are aware. I have seen it and I've not been doing it long. Its mostly the video companies that are struggling. I'm not a video shopper yet but it seems to me its ones who offered decent fees!

Douglas Stafford is the latest one... following AI earlier in the year. Shoppers lost £000's!

Hi Butterflygurl88,

Try Curious Cat and Qmee for quick cash. I recon that you could make £10.00 from each one starting from today and up to the 24th December. You can cash out any amount to PayPal so nice and easy. So far today I have £1.46 on Qmee. All the little pennies add up.
Good luck and let us know how you do.

Cheers,

An-na

I just thought to check something. Counting today there are nine days till the 24th December, so I have added up what I have made on Qmee in the last nine days. I have made £19.51. This has been made quickly and without much time or thought. Just the way I like it :)

Quickest pay out is from Curious Cat, Be My Eye, QMee and Roamler. All are pretty much instant once you request it. Prolific is instant after the first few cash outs.

outside of all the great stuff mentioned.

Ebay, Facebook Marketplace or if you are feeling risky, Gumtree!

I've only just joined this site. I can confirm myself and others losts over £50k to the directors of Douglas Stafford who have just set up a new company My View Limited before running up debts they never had any intention to pay.

I made some videos explaining it if anyone wants to know what happened or just signs to watch out for to avoid being stung by similar companies

Did you work for them freelancer / sole trader style like you would do for any other mystery shopping company?

How much did they personally owe you from the shops you had done?

The self employed/employed status is a bit of disputed point, even if we sorted out our own tax, not having the right of substitution, needing to undergo training, having DS have control over the work schedule and providing us with kit such as cameras, tablets etc pushes us all from self employed and into worker status which gives rise to holiday pay and notice.

The fact the director listed people on insurance policies saying shoppers were employees and made claims on that policy means if he claims shoppers are self employed then the insurance claims he made are now fraudulent...so as you see a bit messy.

Me personally I'm owed a few grand.
