Stop what you are doing on 20cogs now.

Its just not worth the time/investment - regardless of any 'fraud' or anything else.

The issue with 20cogs (and all those sort of sites) is there there are too many COGS in the wheel (lol)

You have for example

20 cogs with their platform which is just clicking on their affiliate links
User then has to sign up to whatever it is. Maybe wager some money, maybe sign up to a trial and then cancel later
The above two transactions might not track correctly because of cookies or something so then the user complains and checks have to be done manually between 20Cogs (did a user click on my affiliate link) and the company in question (did the user sign up and do the free trial for 30 days) and all that can take MONTHS sometimes.

20Cogs / OhMyDosh are just basically Topcashback&Quidco with the advantage of fronting the money to you the user a lot of the time

Just shows it isn't worth spending money to get something back. You could be out of pocket if it gets denied for any reason. It obviousy didn't mention that when 20cogs had the offer up or the person didn't read the Terms of the offer properly.
I would rather do any cashback through Quidco or Topcashback as it is easy to see what exactly what you need to do in order to get paid for any cashback.

I assume everyone says how wonderful it is because they get paid a nice affiliate fee for it? The trustpilot score is 4.4 though.

Neither really. I think I signed up once (a long time ago), saw you had to do lots of trials and stuff and thought "sod it, I can't be bothered with that" and never opened it again!

I'm just interested in general because it feels like they get a bad press on social media, but some people say it's amazing. However, these are the same people pushing referrals... So I looked at Trustpilot and was surprised they rated so highly. I might try it just out of interest rather than expecting to make any money out of it.

That is interesting. How odd... although I don't use them either. I think I did a couple of casino offers once and that was it. I can't be bothered to sign up for trials only to try and cancel them later and get myself off the mailing lists.

I received an email from OhMydosh saying that I was banned from their site for being associated to multiple IP addresses or some gubbins. I told them that I'd not signed in or used the site for almost a year, but never got a reply. Seems like a strange set-up.
