What would you like to be able to do on TMS that you currently can't?

What features have you seen elsewhere on other sites or platforms that you would like to be able to do here?

The fact users are able to promote their offers/websites/blog posts so freely is a huge advantage but are there other ways you would like to promote them that you currently can't?

Are there usability features you would like to see implemented?

I'm interested to know your thoughts!

I'll start by telling you one thing I am thinking about doing which is archiving off the 'money earning diaries' section since people don't seem to do them anymore

and is the 'reselling' subforum really needed anymore or could all that content just go into the 'earning money online' subforum

am I just flogging a dead horse with the 'money-saving' section - I'm not convinced that is why people come to use this site?

I didn’t even know we had a reselling subforum. I don’t know if you do this already but what about having users submit guest posts to your blog? Or having a sortof video challange section where you try to make X amount of money in Y amount of days?

@Jon Did you write off the idea for a classifieds section or is that still something your thinking of?

I'd still like to see a block to newbies bombing threads with their referral links then disappearing again

Totally agree with @homie about blocking newbies and their referral links.
It's just spam and clutters up threads.

I'd like newbies to be unable to post links/PM people until they've got a post count of (x - you decide).

I'd like to be able to flag things based on my opinion

(waste of time)
(not worth doing)
(Great Oppertunity)

I'd like there to be a 'top tips' automatic section where posts that get likes can be read first.

I'd like to ban the use of the words 'staff' in any PM/Message aimed at me.

I'd like a private bloggers/blogging section for people with 100 posts+

I'd like to be able to slap people across the internet.

:)

Thanks,

The Reverend

The reselling subforum is here
Earning Money Online - UK Reselling

I do take guest posts on the blog so if you can write something for me which is decent, information and has a quirky take on the subject (and at least 800 words) then drop me a PM

This is a great community.

Perhaps, we have can have a small marketplace here for people to buy and sell their goods/services to each other.

Yes, this will take time, however if the funds were held in escrow with( someone trustworthy), this would be a nice little addition :)

I do keep on top of it and move rogue referral threads into the main ones so it's all in one place?

So if someone makes a rogue 'trading 212' post with their referral link I just merge it into the main thread as soon as I get a chance or are you wanting more than that?

I get what you are saying about newbies having a post count limit before they can post but my only (well main) concern with that is that it could mean people miss out on decent ops as well. You can be a major lurker and post one BOMBASTIC earning opportunity and then everyone can gain from it.

Flagging threads is something I am already working on. So people would HAVE to choose a prefix for something like 'survey sites', 'mystery shopping' etc just to make the threads more clear about what the op or question is about.

Would advantage would a private blogging section for people with 100+ posts bring?

I'm not saying they can't post, only that they can't post LINKS or send PMs.

I just like the idea of a more private area of TMS. Where I can slag of GoldMember and people who call me Staff and laugh at the people who join TMS to recommend a scheme they aren't part of and don't use themselves but it turns out, completely unexpectadly, their mate from high school runs it!

:)

I also really like the colour coded categories. So much easier to browse the forum.

I would like a complimentary thread to the money earning challenge where we can ask questions about the sites people are using. Also perhaps if someone is not an active member they lose their referral links unless it is useful and none of the regular members have one. I like the colour coded categories as well. Perhaps you could make it clearer if a scheme is not endorsed by the money shed.

Ooooh I like the new colour coded categories! @Jon

Thanks. I've done them for two subforums so far. I have to code the CSS for them for each subforum and then allocate them so it's going to take me a few days to get around each subforum as I have to take a look at the content and figure out which prefixes would work best with it.

When a user create a new thread in the subforums I have set this up for they are forced to choose a prefix so as this naturally goes on it will be much easier ;)

Could you explain a bit more about the two bits I have bolded just so I can get a better handle on what it is you are after ;)

Right I MAY have come up with a solution to create an entire classified system where you can sell what you want in a controlled manner, it just needs some money throw at it lol

but at least I've found a way of moving forward with it!
