That doesn't sound good

someone else on this thread lost money because they didn't pay out, are you in a similar boat?
Well they've credited, but it is the payout that is the issue. If I think about it this probably started from end of last year... So basically not looking good, I agree!

I'm in the same boat with this. I actually have £220 in the Fivestar account. I emailed and they said they're having issues with payments. If I don't get paid soon I'll have to try sending the products back and trying to get my money from that.

I'll be honest here, at this point it's probably better for your head just to write it off (I'm in roughly the same position). Time spent thinking about this is just wasted - life is short - and it was a good gig whilst it lasted.

These “paid for reviews” companies are just the pits!

Yeah, armed with the knowledge though that the rug is going to get pulled at some point will make us more careful in the future.

yeah

People that sign up to this sort of work KNOW they are doing something morally wrong in that they are gaming the amazon system and pushing products from companies they don't really know to the top by writing paid for / fake reviews so the fact stuff like this happens should be accepted as the risk sadly

Yeah, interesting. What a drop in the ocean, 20000 reviews! This is classic Streisand-effect, now more people will want to get in on it.

The more amazon does to combat this sort of thing the better from the point of view as the consumer. 'Fake reviews' help no one
