That was the first tranche of the Australian checking, wasn't it? Looking back through my emails (got to love a digital hoarder...) and tallying with PayPal, I got paid for all 97 I did in late March.

Yes that's the one, I did 500, and looking like I completely wasted my time as I doubt I'll get anything now. They actually ignored the last email. Anyway thanks for checking

I think they're working from home (and it's after 6pm in Portugal, which is where I think they're based), so stuff gets missed. They're worth trying on chat.

I'm not worried. I'm happy that Crowdville has exposed just how much time and effort I'm losing on the corrections tasks, though. What Neevo need to do is show stats such as was shown by Crowdville - so we know if it's worth bothering putting the time in and having so many rejected for what I can only think are minor issues. I often put heavy background noises as 'non speech' for instance, but now I think that's where a lot of my rejections come from.

I did 450 jobs for the Australian task, and I have been paid $1.60 so far.

This is the issue with them. We need clarity as to how many tasks were accepted so we can keep track of what we're being paid. it doesn't help that in some tasks you get paid a bit at a time so you don't know where you are.

They are a shambles tbh when it comes to paying, the way they do it is simply impossible to keep track of, maybe that's the idea.

The last time I did the correction task (the English one) I need 4500+ and got paid for the majority so I can’t see why this Australian one would be any different... hoping the rest will come soon.

I did 11,000 of those, but havent had anything from neevo since then, apart from the phone call one but never recieved the follow up email for it!

Someone said on here they do the phone call task in groups. So you might still get invited. I’ve done all of mine they were quite fun to do to be fair.

Yes, that was me. You're likely to be invited to the transcription before they do batch two - that's what happened last year to me!

I know me too, those Aussie ones that we listen to when we just answer yes or no are hard going, you wonder how many times they can get uh or mmh into one sentence

I can barely do 50 nevermind 5000

I don't mind the yes or no ones so much - loads of them can be done as done as you see 'ok' and it's easy to get them right, it's the ones where you have to alter the whole thing.
