They don't give you a passrate.

Not only that, but without working it all out yourself you won't know the passrate at Neevo even when they do pay you. I got 2 payments from them a couple of days ago for about £60, so I know I got paid for quite a lot, but not exactly sure how many.
any rough estimate on quite a lot? no worries if you can't

@Kenneth Crowder is there any of way of neevo feeding back on the errors as if we don’t know how can we correct them if we think that we’re following all the guidance. I have completed 1368 and apparently 341 are invalid. I don’t want to slog myself before homeschooling three challenging kids if I’m unlikely to not get paid for a percentage. As far as I’m aware I’m following the new new rules?

I think it's near impossible to get even close to say 85% + accuracy with the correction. I mean, can someone quantify loud breathing for me? I was marking all sharp exhales and audible breaths in a load of tasks and I'm pretty sure they have been rejected. If the people validating aren't using headphones and paying full attention then they can easily miss something. I know I have missed stuff and only pick up on it in a subsequent play through. Some of these things need an example and even then are highly subjective.

This is the screenshot from my tasks. I only completed 539. After I received the email from Crowdville about how miserable I was at it, I didn't think it was worth it.
I realise it must be from this task as I received $42 from them for another task and those are the only 2 I've completed.

As I said at the time Kenneth, these are 50/50 tasks anyhow. How could I have got so many wrong through Crowdville, yet get 100% going directly? Someone here isn't being straight.

The thing that I don't get is this - somebody is obviously checking the ones we correct, and they are deeming them wrong in a third or so of cases. So why are we even needed if these guys (or girls) are the experts and check them anyway? The process isn't very clear to me.

It's us that is validating them....after a ten question test, haha. I have validated tasks that I have corrected, or at least identical tasks appear in the correction and then the validation. The reason why people are able to validate with such high accuracy is because, from what I've read, correction tasks are validated by two people and a third if it's a split decision. So if the people validating agree a correction task is invalid I believe it's automatically deemed invalid and is refused. The issue with validation comes from the fact that it all depends on who validates that task with you. You say it's good, the other person disagrees and then the third disagrees, not only will that validation task become invalid for you, it will be marked as an invalid correction task for whoever did the correction.
The issue I have with this is, the people validating aren't sufficiently trained, aren't necessarily native speakers and only they know the reason they're invalidating the task. Some errors are glaringly obvious, but for others it might not be so and it could easily be the case that a task is rejected for two different reasons, especially when it's close to a minute long. There is also no guarantee that either of those reasons is sufficient cause for invalidation.

Apologies for the wall of text. My explanation could no doubt be shorter and waffle less, but hopefully that's the jist of it. This has done my head in, to say the least..

Interesting. I agree it would only take 2 people not versed in the rules to overule one person who had it right to begin with. And let's face it, more people than not are a little confused by the rather long rules list.

Hi, currently they do not have a protocol in place where they can give feedback on task by task scenario, however they did recently put out a guidance on the top 3 errors they see on their side and also the guidance we put out. Link for the top 3 errors is one of the comments in the group.

Yes that's right, we haven't paid out anyone as of yet. The payment process will begin once the mission is close. I can certainly say that their systems are more stricter due to the correction task which also pays higher.

Well I think I’m out unfortunately. I’ve spent several more hours since yesterday and completed another load and literally only 30 more have been accepted as valid. So as much as Neevo pay less I definitely earn more with them accepting more of my corrections. My time is valuable.

I will unlikely hit the 100 for the other quicker job as there’s never any available. I’m really disappointed actually in the whole debacle.

Am sorry you feel like this.

Part of me does think the blame needs to be laid at Neevos door for not doing due diligence in regards to if Crowdville was setup and ready to do this sort of work (and had the workers for is) as it seems from reading this thread that you guys on here are telling crowdville more than they know at times even if they are the ones running the project!

guys i would encourage you to keep on doing the tasks. Once you rehearse yourself with the instructions the tasks become much easier and the speed at which you do them gets faster. Use the number of invalid tasks as your guide to how well you are doing and work out the mistakes from there. We're seeing a good proportionate amount of validated tasks in those that have more tasks executed. The advise has been to do more correction tasks leading to the end of the mission, which is the 30.06.20 tba

I have kept plodding on and as @Kenneth Crowder has said the more you do the less that seem to be invalid. Can I just ask about the tba finish date as this started in May and the end date keeps getting extended. It's just quite a long time to expect people to continue without any payment. I am doing it with you guys as it's better paid however if I did it with Neevo it's likely I would be paid much sooner. Just a point, not a complaint.

Yes the end date for sure will be the 30 of June, will be sooner if the tasks are completed before then.

Hey Tengo,

regarding validation reports, my bad i should of made a bigger annoucement, i will send one out today, but the the country that the client is operating in, has a 2 day national holiday, so there wont be reports on wednesday and thursday

with payments from both rounds, we will be combing them together, but also its still all under one mission, and we begin the payment process within 10 days after the mission end, however i would like to mention that we have already calculated the earnings for everyone in the first round.
