This is the longest one I've ever had to do, ffs...
"well I- I just went in to browse really I- I wasn't looking for anything in particular and I went in and she came over and said you know do you need any help which you know was- was- was fine and Hesitationshe started Hesitationjust having a chat you know and I just thought she was being you know friendly and she was like asking what I did for- for a living and I told her that you know I- I- I work locally Hesitationand then Hesitationshe started asking if I worked out and I was like well not re- not really and just thought again she was perhaps being a bit- a bit friendly but it just seems a bit forward and then she was like well do you fancy going for a- for a coffee Hesitationlater on today and I was- I kind of politely declined and thought well it's not really what I would expect but you know so I sort of tried- tried to move off to another area of the store and she just kept following me Hesitationand then she was like well do you want to go to the cinema and I was like well not- not really you know I'm not really a big cinema fan and sort of headed off kind of towards the exit and she just kind of started following me and saying well did I wanna go for a meal and I was like well you know not- not really cause obviously my wife might object so I was kind of you know trying to give her signals and she was just you know being a bit- a bit Hesitationpersistent shall we say so I just you know didn't really think it was appropriate that I went into the store and she you know it's fine she was being friendly at the start but then"
3068 and I feel like I’ve got not a single ounce of joy left in me
You're absolute heroes. 200 and I'd rather lick sandpaper. And I used to transcribe for a living!2800 and feeling the same :/
On this part:
If the speaker hesitates, emitting undefined sounds such as fillers (e.g. um, uh, etc.), use the Hesitation tag ([hes/]).
***NOTE*** Only use this tag to flag isolated fillers. If the speaker turns a word into a filler, do not enter this tag. Just transcribe the word as you understand it.
- If a filler word is used, are people tagging Hesitation and then writing the filler word in as well straight after it? Example:
"Hesitation Um well I do really apologise for the inconvenience that that has caused I hope that I've been able to Hesitation uh sort of...."
I didn’t pass the test both times. I was so careful and listened to it word for word - so I don’t know what I did wrong. It has left me so demoralised.
That’s so kind that you replied and want to help. I am not sure - I read the instructions thoroughly before and during both tests several times and wondered if it was the tags I used. But after the second test, I got a message saying that I hadn’t passed. What was frustrating was the fact I did not see where I went wrong.Where do you think you might have gone wrong? Were you using the tags correctly? I'd like to help you but I don't know what you might have done??
Just had 5 payments from Neevo all 0.10 cent each for the same task. Don't know why they couldn't pay it all in one transaction lol.
Me too! Hilarious. They seem to have approved all of mine so far, which is bonkers as I accidentally hit "next" twice as it's so close to "hesitation".Just had 5 payments from Neevo all 0.10 cent each for the same task. Don't know why they couldn't pay it all in one transaction lol.
