You could be right. I've been contacted today about a project I probably can't talk about which will involve livestreaming a few musicians from the stage of an empty theatre. Needless to say, I'm absolutely up for this.I wonder with theatres if they are thinking more in terms of opening to allow actors etc in to rehearse and/or possibly live stream performances. I love watching plays but I can't see myself returning to a theatre for a while.
I've got work in my diary from mid-November. If the numbers keep (almost inexplicably) going down despite increased easing of the lockdown and social contact, I think that may be okay. Having said that, even though I've had Covid-19 (almost certainly), I'm nervous about singing in close proximity to others.
I've also seen an interesting proposal in The Stage today about ENO's plans for the Autumn season (tl/dr - mini operas, reduced audience, will probably work very well). I'd be happy to go, and will be doing so.
