I have just tried that @An-na (even though it is all online based) - still asking me to answer this question?

If I tick ALL the boxes in the first column - it will look like I am answering 'yes' to them all - which I don't want to do as it would be incorrect and make the whole survey pointless!

I have contacted the Researcher but got no reply yet. Will probably have to stop without completing and report the study if time runs out BUT I don't want to do this as they keep all your answers up to date regardless of whether you finish or not.

yeah I would have one selected for each section
Do you mean one in each colum for the answers given and leave the rest blank, where I have left the first column blank (as my answer is No)? If so, I have just tried that without success

Time has ran out so I have reported the study and clicked on 'finished'. Will see what they say and reply on here for future use to anyone.
I have been told in the past to click on finished instead of end study so that there is still a chance of getting paid

I would have an answer (true or not) for each of those lines

I know, I'm too honest for my own good - not that it gets me anywhere, hee hee!
I sent mine back and told them that you can only get past and to the next questions by ticking every box which makes the date meaningless. Hopefully, we'll all be invited again - there's clearly a problem.

Did you click on 'finish' or 'end study' @Jute ?

I have already been paid for mine and JUST got a reply from the Researcher thanking me for pointing out the problem and confirming that it was fixed now and that I could continue it if PA let me (unable to do that though as it has already been reviewed and paid out. (I DID get about 70% through it).

I did the 'return' survey bit where you get the chance to say what went wrong. But having seen your comment, I contacted the researcher as well this morning anyway to mention that I tried, so maybe I'll get another chance to do it.

I've just had 'The Toaster' study. Those that have had it know the one I mean ;)
On the last page, the bit that asks what the study was about, I thought I'd give the researcher a giggle, so I put this:

You asked me to put myself emotionally into the head of a very neglected toaster. The poor toaster. It is merely metal and plastic, purely utilitarian in function. But I had to give it life, really get inside its mechanism. Give it hopes, fears and feelings! Do I feel for this toaster? Yes, of course I do. I want to fill up its slot with fresh, tasty bread. Push its buttons, until it pops. Then I will extract the toast, smother it with butter, until it is dripping. Then I will put it to my waiting mouth and take an exquisite bite, savouring the taste. I will then pat the toaster, telling it that it has done a perfect job. Then I will sell it to the highest bidder on ebay :)

Anyone just do a word puzzle study? Managed to rack up £10.80 in total on that 30min task
No, I'm having one of those stages where I'm just too late all the time - had loads I haven't nabbed over the past 2/3 days.

I've been with Prolific for about 8 months now but only do them on my laptop.
Do you think it's worth checking their website on a mobile as well? I mean - do you get different studies on different devices?

I log in on three types of device for them - mobile, tablet and laptop (which counts as a PC for Prolific).

The advantage of logging in with mobile is that you can do surveys on the move. About a month ago I was in a very long queue at the Post Office and did three Prolific surveys for £7.85 While waiting.
