Hi @mabozza, you don't have any problems. There were jobs on yesterday and earlier this morning. They have just disappeared. When the jobs come back you will see them.

My app has been updated for a few day now and I really don't like the new upgrade style at all.
What does everyone else think of it?

Hi all,

How do people get on with the merchandising tasks? Are shops and supermarkets happy for Roamlers to start re-arranging shelves and getting stock from the warehouse? I tried a couple just before the lockdown started and practically got laughed out of the store.

I avoid them now. The manager of the store no matter what store I go to is always on the defensive and is not interested.

Yes, that was my experience. I assumed I wasn't assertive enough. I've done a few where I had to assemble a display unit, but they were expecting someone to turn up so it wasn't nearly so awkward.

Yeah i have done some, but not for a long time... the ones i do are the type where shop will have been sent an FSDU to assemble and merchandise.. those most will know about, as for the ones asking you to go to a shop and take stock from stockroom and move the product placement, get new SEL printed etc ... absolute bargepoles, almost always you will be told where to go... keep in mind the important thing.. the (insert MS company name here) "Letter of "AUTHORITY" has as much sway as picking up a discarded crisp packet from the bin and saying "this says i can do this task"

Agreed.

They always ask to see a badge.

I've asked Roamler for an ID badge about 5 times. Each time they say thats a good idea, then do nothing about it. I made my own badge with my photo on it in the end. Seems to open a few more doors.

A top tip is don't start with 'Hello I'm from Roamler....' They will just wonder what a Roamler is. Tell them you are representing whichever brand you are working on.

That said, I still tend to avoid the find stock in the warehouse ones.

I did the Waitrose one the other day, it was approved today for £8.50. Didn't go near the warehouse, what manager in their right mind is going to let some random wander around and mess about with their stock?

Spice Tailor? I did that in Safeway and Waitrose. In both cases, I got a flat 'no' from the manager, but I took the photos anyway and still got paid.

There is a lot of flavoured milk jobs on the app just now.. Standard Roamler job however pay is a disgraceful £2 this type of job previously would be £5-£6 minimum... I am sat 50 yards from one waiting on Uber jobs and not going to bother doing it

I know! I was hoping to earn a bit with Roamler this month but it's just rubbish now. A stupid amount of work for the pay and also the possibility of being rejected. No thanks. £2 is terrible.

Are Roamler doing paid amazon reviews now?

you should not complete this task if you have previously left a review on Amazon for this product. To contribute to customer reviews you must have spent at least £40 on Amazon in the past 12 months.
