I was delighted to see it make a clear distinction between 'The Great Reset' and 'tHe GrEaT rEsEt'. Nothing like putting a teaspoon of truth into a vat of bollocks to give a crackpot theory credence.Even the BBC Has picked up on the Great Reset!
The coronavirus pandemic 'Great Reset' theory and a false vaccine claim debunked
We unpick some of this week's misleading claims about the pandemic and the coronavirus vaccine.www.bbc.co.uk
odd thing this morning is that sky news gets that and claims 90% which bbc news doesn't and is saying 70% lolI was delighted to see it make a clear distinction between 'The Great Reset' and 'tHe GrEaT rEsEt'. Anyway, off my soapbox, I promise. Oxford vaccine news is FANTASTIC. I'm particularly pleased about the half-dose/full-dose news as surely (I'm a layman, so I don't know for certain) that implies it's teaching our bodies to do the hard work?
I was just pleased that the BBC had the guy on to explain. That was what made the '90% if we do THIS' most exciting for me. I know two people on the Oxford trial (one over 65), so this is brilliant news.odd thing this morning is that sky news gets that and claims 90% which bbc news doesn't and is saying 70% lol
Plus it can be stored in a regular fridge so can be given by GPs without specialist storage or safety equipment. This means it really can be rolled out quickly. Well done Oxford.I was just pleased that the BBC had the guy on to explain. That was what made the '90% if we do THIS' most exciting for me. That’s the kicker isn’t it. Everyone seems to have a different reaction to it!I have just spent a couple of weeks in coronavirus land. I am not sure if I had it but my daughter who lives with us tested positive so we had to isolate. She never did get a continuous dry cough. The test and trace people are very slow by the time I got the call to isolate I could have infected half the district. My daughter's friend had a call to tell her she had to isolate for the afternoon. They seemed mainly concerned about whether we commuted to Liverpool. (We live in Bristol). If I had it it did not seem much different from the flu and definitely not worth closing the country down for.

My daughter is at uni and told me yesterday the test wasn't compulsory? I don't think anyone knows what they are doing hahaAll the unis are going to be starting to test all their students next week, so my concern is that will show an artificial surge in infections in those areas and could lead them to being in a higher tier than they naturally belong in. I guess we will see.
No, it's not compulsory. They have asked for volunteers at work to administer it. I say sod that! Let the academic staff who have sat safely at home since March do their bit. I'm already taking a risk! I get the impression a lot of students have already disengaged this last week or so.My daughter is at uni and told me yesterday the test wasn't compulsory?
