Hi,
Seen a lot of referrals on here for Trading 212, a quick search on the forum has brought up 10 pages though,

Does anyone have a link to a beginners guide?

I will also happily use a referral to sign up

Cheers

In all honestly my experience has been

Sign up, get allocated free shares, sell those free shares if they are rubbish ones and then buy better ones based on the news / market conditions.

That's about it!

I would say that's the same journey for a lot of people who feel into this and have no PROPER education when it comes to stocks lol

The trading 212 app has a practice mode where you can have a go at Trading with pretend money. It helped me get the hang of it pretty quickly. Good luck

if you haven't signed up already heres a referal link, http://trading212.com/invite/FMSxEpF5

some good places to learn are twitter and youtube.

a good twitter trader to follow is @TraderBjones , not trading advice but some information such as projected earnings for companies etc has been helpful

a good youtube channel to follow is RaynerTeo ,plenty of information on undertsanding charts and also some simple trends.

its good to learn how NOT to lose your money.

I've got quite into Trading212 over the last month or so

In the last 2 weeks I've had a great time with Aston Martin

EnGH6KBXYAAJrGf

I've made about £400 in the space of 2 weeks with them by putting in when they bottomed out at about 50 points

1 year ago they were at they were about 600 points so there is HUGE room for movement hopefully

Still waiting for Astrazeneca to pop when the oxford vaccine gets announced!

I use FXCM, started with a demo account. Took me a year before things started to click and about 2 when I can just goto a chart and see whats going on. Learning Japanese Candlesticks is very very important to any trading or investing.

Hi @Francuz. I'm all for checking for the real facts and getting the truth out there so people can make an informed decision themselves. But this doesn't look very believable to me. My understanding is the Moderna study included 30,000 participants from a wide cross section of people. They were the company where someone in the study died, but apparently he died in the placebo group, not from taking the vaccine. The screenshot above looks like fake news to me, or if it is real its from very early on in the development.

I agree, that looks like the patient profile for phase 1, which is always tested on healthy people. And an adverse reaction to a vaccine can be as little as a sore arm, it still has to be recorded.

Anyone using the Pie system on Trading212?
You just create a pie or you can have more than one if you want and set goals too if you want to reach a certain amount. I have just created one with investments equally weighted.
It seems a great way to keep track of everything and shows you projections on how much you could possibly earn in a year from the whole pie. You can set it to Auto invest so dividends are automatically reinvest back into buying more shares. Then you can set each investment within the pie to whatever percentage you want. I have just set mine at an equal 25% between the 4 investments I have but you can have them at different percentages so any dividends or money you put into the pie can go more into one or two investments and less to the others. I am keeping it the same just for ease.

I keep meaning to have a look at that pie thing.

Do you have goals then? Are the goals numbers you would be happy to sell the share at or something?

I just set a monetary goal to reach it doesn’t do anything like sell a share It just then shows your progress percentage wise. Useful of you want to reach a certain amount then use it for something.
Just moved my shares into one pie at the moment so all in one place and I know any dividends will automatically get reinvested back to more shares. I will keep max 4 in one pie so easy to see then just create more if I buy any others.
Once you create a pie and add shares then name it you can then choose which or all shares you already have to import into that pie.
Spent a bit of time the last couple of days just sussing it out as it seems a better way to organise shares and see how they are doing and also automatically reinvesting dividends back to more shares. You can set to automatically deposit money into each individual pie if you want to invest an amount you choose every single month but I just kept that off but the auto invest dividends I kept on. Saves having to keep doing that manually but you can have that off if you don’t want to do that.

Just out of interest, these are the top 10 shares held by investors on T212.

No surprise it is mostly new technology shares, Pfizer for obvious reasons and National Grid because they have given so many away free. Quite surprised to see Rolls Royce on there although its one I've held myself for ages.
