Yeah handwritten receipts should be banned I agree.. But to force drivers to use inconvenient shops is ridiculous.. I use a day today or spar always get a proper receipt.. Had one job on earlier for a can of red bull.. I rejected it and it kept popping up until it expired as no one would touch it.. Normally for one like this I pop into shop around corner grab item and go deliver and do all that within bonus time.. Had I taken this I would need drive 2.5 miles to the nearest superstore... Find a parking spot and walk round a huge store looking for a can of red bull (which I already knew my asda only stock in bulk packs not single serve.) . So I would then have had to go to next superstore.. A Tesco 4 miles away in the vain hope they sold this one can of juice.. Then drive 7 or so miles to deliver.. For under a fiver.. Over an hour of time and 14 or so total miles of fuel... For under a fiver.. Nope so that customer had to find their red bull elsewhere or go without which I am sure they were very happy with beelivery for. Beelivery may see the error of their ways in a few months as they lose a ton of customers and drivers who won't return if they fix it then

Just got back from shopping and the queue for the drive in MacDonalds went out of the car park. I'd say 2 out of every 3 cars were minicabs doing uber eats or deliveroo type things, I could see all their little keep warm bags on the seat next to the driver.

Is anyone still doing this?

I have downloaded the app and the nearest Bee to me is 15miles away. I like in a small town with one main supermarket, but with a lack of home delivery slots and click and collect I think it could be a good earner.

Is it mostly small grocery errands, bread, milk, fags, booze or full weekly shops?

Was thinking of posting about it in local Facebook groups to spread the words and see what happens.

My wife tried to get a Tesco home delivery and the earliest was nearly 3 weeks away, crazy.

Hello! Yes, I still do it but haven’t done any for the past 10 days because the rate of pay is so poor. I don’t think I’ve seen a single job over £7 come in initially, and increasing to no more than £11. Not enough for me!

if you can dominate an area @Chrislennon1 then you should be able to earn a decent wedge if the pay delivery is high enough!

Thanks, what volume was the shopping orders you were doing. A few items or full grocery shop? Is there a limit to what a customer and order?

That was my thinking, the prices are quite high but when people are unfortunately desperate they pay those prices if they want something.

My average is around £17 for a small top up shop or fag/booze run. My highest was £32 for a £200 booze fest- took me 24 mins from the time I accepted to delivery. That’s the kinda pay I like!
Big grocery shops start around £20, I find they’re few and far between because of Bees extortionate prices. Customers can order anything in Bees shop but can no longer purchase alcohol after 9pm.

I get about 4 offers a day,(massively declined in past month or so) i only do local short list ones now as they have started dropping pay rates quite heavily... I recently pulled them on how they are calculating distances after seeing one for about £6 which had 2.4 miles... i google mapped it and actual mileage was 11.3 miles... i asked how they came to such a wrong mileage and it seems they are now using "as the crow flies" for mileage... i informed them that very few beelivery drivers are using helicopters. opting instead for roads!! had a few regular customers in more out the way places who have stopped using beelivery now i assume because no driver is going to do the job for a fiver that used to be £14 or so. With Uber Eats and i think Deliveroo doing the same for less inflated prices more people are ditching Beelivery both customers and drivers

Interesting I think sometimes it depends on the area maybe? I got £7.21 inc £1 bonus for doing a delivery which was less than 1 mile from my house just to deliver a bottle of vodka. I was already out anyway so I thought I’d quickly do it.

I used a Receipt from a local nisa and they actually paid me within an hour!

Looks like there could be a good amount of work coming for people doing Beelivery

We’ve some exciting news for you.

From 5 July, we’re launching our very first TV campaign.

This will mean millions of households will know who we are and more will start to use our service.

SO WHAT? We hear you say!

Well, it means there should be even more work for you, if you want it.

Award-winning Brad Lubin, who helped create commercials for Housesimple and Burger King, has directed our TV ads. So, they’re sure to hit home and generate lots of buzz around Beelivery.

We hope you enjoy the ads too, and that you’re able to earn some extra cash off the back of them.

Safe driving. Happy delivering.

The Beelivery Team.

Hello!

Did you know that one of the most common reasons some Beelivery drivers miss out on delivery jobs, is because their Location Services is switched off?

This means the Beelivery app doesn’t know where you are, and therefore it can’t send you work.

So, if you want to top-up your income, in a super-flexible way, grab your phone and turn on Location Services.

Here's how

iPhone / iOS

Go to your iPhone's or iPad's Settings.

Tap Privacy > Location Services.

Scroll down and tap Beelivery.

Allow location access Always.

Android

On your mobile device, touch Settings.*

Touch Location or Location Permissions.*

Make sure all options such as Location, Location Services, and Location Reporting are enabled for the Beelivery app.
* The names of these options, menus, and menu items can vary by device. Refer to the documentation that came with your device.

In May, the average pay per order was £9.27. And, with our big-bang marketing campaign starting in July, there’s sure to be more jobs coming your way.

Safe driving. Happy delivering.

The Beelivery Team.

Have noticed quite a marked rise in the amount of jobs appearing on the app lately, i used to do 4 or 5 a day, but now maybe one a month (Only attractive jobs are the single item...pack of fags, bottle of wine type thing..going short distance)sadly though the pay rates took a dramatic nosedive a few months ago esp for further afield jobs... they changed from measuring distance by roads to "as the crow flies" so are expecting drivers to do jobs that could be a 20 mile drive for a fiver. Many of the jobs are the same one being repeatedly requested as drivers reject it With Uber Eats and Deliveroo now doing the same service at a lower per item cost to customer and better pay and crucially pre picked orders (you go to shop ...goods already bagged and off you go) for drivers i cant see them having much continued success

Anyone signed up with the amazon mobile delivery app? If so is it worth doing, I've signed up and there are shifts in my area, works out £14-15ph, but from that you have to pay fuel etc and with that being so high at moment am unsure if its worth it. Most shifts seem to be 3 ir 4 hours in my area

Yeah I've seen quite a few in Leeds available. I've signed up but not done a shift lol - I think the likes of @nat21luv and @mabozza have done it in the past

Another thought is my car insurance, I probably need additional cover, maybe too much hassle.
