boosters down to a 3 month gap now but I can't book it yet on the NHS website cos it still thinks it should be 5!!
Its good bringing the gap down - if you can get anything local. Husband has had his booster text and can't get anywhere closer than 40 miles away, even though there is a vaccination centre half a mile down the road! He's been checking daily for the last week. Daughter and I were very lucky to snap up an appointment each at the local centre earlier in the month.

Our local one is still open. Him indoors is trying to book his now - he's in a queue of 2.5K! Then when he gets anywhere near the front, it crashes. He tries again and it says there are no appointments available at all, anywhere.

It seems the government need to approve the age changes which they may do later tonight and then the website will change and allow people to book that are younger / over 3 months since the last jab

He's over 60 and over 6 months since his last jab - it still isn't working.

I'm the same it's only giving me one option which is not the one I had my other 2 jabs at and it's not near to me and I keep getting reminders now to book it. I would if I could get in to my local one!

I can't work out why they changed a system that was working well - for the first 2, you got a text from the G.P, clicked the link and got an appointment at the local centre. Simple! Now its just broken!

We had our boosters yesterday. Was much easier to book than the first two. We had Moderna, and I'm as rough as a badger's arse today.

I had the Pfizer booster jab yesterday, instantly lost my appetite, cold sweats, aching body and a very sore arm. It wasn't pretty yesterday.

hospitalisations and deaths are where the focus needs to be imo

The UK Health Security Agency said that cases were highest in those aged 5 to 9 years old, evidence that cases have risen again in schools after dipping following a half-term break a month ago.
Cases were lowest in the over-80s, who are among the most vulnerable from COVID-19 and have also been prioritised for booster shots.
Cases were up 2.8% over the last seven days compared with the week before, although deaths were down 3% over the same time span.
There were a further 141 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test recorded on Thursday, down from 171 the day before.

Seems like there's more and more signs coming in that the booster stop serious illness with this new variant which is a good thing!

40 years old here and been able to book my booster today on the national booking websites

Interestingly, if i try and choose places I know only does Pfizer it shows me no times available but if its somewhere where they do Moderna they show me times so it seems maybe they want to keep you on the same brand
