What does the drop in interest rate mean to you?

Is there room for mortgage rates to drop much further, even with a base rate cut? I think the rates are at historical low points and suspect there comes a point where the banks can't make money if they drop by too much. I'll be watching the GBP/USD and GBP/EUR exchange rates very carefully at...

July 2016 moneymaking challenge - All welcome and cash prizes to be won!

£444 against a target of £250. Very happy with that. Set the target quite low as thought MB would be slow due to lack of football, but this thread encouraged me to branch out a bit and the results are plain to see!

What has made you smile today?

We live quite close to Mildenhall where the Ospreys are based and see them from time to time. When Obama was in London a couple of months back two of them flew over escorting his two Marine One helicopters. Boy did they make a noise.

What has made you smile today?

We live outside the village boundary by a mile or so and the house is set back some way from the road in a development that contains a dozen or so small business units, with ours being the only domestic dwelling. When we first moved in we contacted the council to organise them delivering the...

    General Chat - July 2016

Just booked tickets for the racing at Newmarket on Friday, which were free as a result of linking my Coral, B365 and Betfred accounts to rewards4racing.com. A nice little spin-off from matched betting (worth £72) results. All we need now is the weather to hold........

£250 for me please this month. I've a lot on and with the lack of football I think it will be difficult. Thanks as always to Chammy and Katy for running these challenges.

Jamie Vardy wasn't in the starting eleven but was one of the subs so he's treated like a 'non-runner'........much like most of the England team last night

You're right Jon, 3 goals in 2012 and 4 in 2008. There is an extra round this year though as the finals have been expanded from 16 teams to 24.

May 2016 moneymaking challenge - All welcome! 3 participants will win £10 each

£463 against a target of £700 this month. A bit disappointing but it's still £463 more than I would have had, and given most of it was earned from the comfort of my own home I shan't be moaning too much!
