For the rating work you need a desktop PC and a phone, you work on the PC and use the app on the phone at the same time so you can see what a page looks like on your phone but you rate it on the task on your PC - it will all become clear if you start doing the job.

A lot of the projects are short term, especially the social media one hour a day ones which usually only run for 9 months. Keep checking the websites and keep your details up to date, you never know when out of the blue you'll get an email inviting you to a project.

It's over 5 years ago now, but it took me several months from applying before I was offered the exam. Looks like I started the application process in mid February and was accepted as an agent on 10th July. I know it can be much quicker as well but that was my experience.

I said yes to the listening to machine voices project and then they sent me a short voice recording job to do as well, think it's only US $5 but was really easy and only took 15 minutes. Haven't heard back about the voice listening one yet though.

Well I didn't manage to do a study but am willing to wait this one out, think this will be a good site when they've managed to iron out a few teething problems. I think these first few studies will have been as much a learning curve for them as for us and hopefully they'll keep tweeking things...
