    Small gains.

And because of the imminent house move I've been shopping around for some savvy savings on utilities and house insurance and bagged myself £143 cashback into the bargain. September total so far - £237

    Has anyone claimed PPI?

I did out of curiosity. Not a sausage.

How often do you clean your house?

One massive deep clean a week and 'cat licks' for the rest. ☺

    Small gains.

Granted, it was about 40 books but they accumulated over the years. ☺ Yes, they sent a pdf to print labels and a guy to pick up the boxes I packed. Took about a week to process.

    Small gains.

I'm in the middle of packing for a house move so I'm not really in start mode for September savings. However, I used one of those book buying sites to offload some stuff. Result. £60 Then I went to cancel a course I'd booked only to find it had been cancelled anyway. So I got a £35 refund...

Matched Betting Question Getting back into MB

Well I'm going back into it. I'm moving home and have a Revolut account so, hopefully, I can get all the free bets again. Even if I can't I can still follow the very comprehensive guidelines on here to start generating a small, passive income.

    Happy Anniversary

Just logged on to discover I've been here a year. I'd like to say I've been making strides with all the info here but I'd be lying. However, I have taken the great leap of moving house. By October I will be paying much cheaper rent (ironically on a larger house) , cheaper utilities and...

Hrumph! Signed up on the Matched Betting service, fell at the first fence. Both Coral and Betfair have identified me as an existing customer despite new e-mail and different bank account. Guess I'll have to forgo the free offers.

    Spa membership. Pros and Cons

Actually, maybe I could utilise this and do a fitness blog for persons of a *ahem* more mature age. ;)

    Spa membership. Pros and Cons

Thanks Jon. As I've never had a membership of any kind, I'm clueless as to what constitutes a reasonable fee.Admittedly I felt a bit weird posting this as the aim of the site is to make/save money. :-)

December 2018 Money Making Challenge - Last One of the Year Before We're All Skint Again!!

A bit late to the party for this one, but it's great reading everyone else's goals. It will inspire me for the January challenge. :-)

As an adult what the heck gets you excited anymore?

Getting a competition win notification. Doesn't matter how big or small, it gives me a buzz. :-)

    Spa membership. Pros and Cons

I'm thinking of taking up a spa membership in January. My level of fitness has been poor for a while now but this is exacerbated by mobility problems which, in turn, drags down my level of fitness. Catch 22. Anyway, there's a spa 4 stops on the bus from me. It has a swimming pool (I love...

I've been looking at Monzo too. Apparently it was voted Which Best App Only bank. :-)
