I don't have any money to buy a laptop. I'm very lucky to have been able to get the Hudl. I have a PC, but I've not been able to use it as I've been mostly bed bound. No idea what side loading means. Sometimes struggle to hold the tablet at the moment. I have a tablet, a phone and a PC and I...
Hi, I've been stuck in bed ill for weeks. I have a Hudl2. I really need Flash on it as the lack of it means I miss out on a lot of things. I've tried one or two supposedly easy solutions for getting round the Flash issue on Android but they didn't work. Can anyone help me?
Unfortunately as I said, there's no money. I do mean no money, as in can't meet the rent no money. So a new computer, or even a new chair is not possible. I've asked a friend to keep an eye out on Freegle for me for a chair, but free is all I have money for.
Hi Caroline, I'm a home edder too with a daughter who's, amongst other things, Aspergers and ADD. We're not 'officially' home edding any more as she'll be 18 this year. But as you know for our children the support needed is very much ongoing and doesn't stop at 16. I've been gradually increasing...
Thanks. Unfortunately it's a shame, but there's no money for anything at the moment. DH will upgrade my PC as soon as is possible, but there isn't anything spare at all.
Hi, whereabouts in the paper do you find the codes and what do you do with them exactly? My folks get the mail and aren't interested in using the codes so they said I could use them. Do you need to put them in on the day? Thanks for reading :)
Hiya, as I said I've been self employed before. I don't think it's justified to register as self employed if you're getting the occasional voucher. Having to do annual tax returns and dealing with national insurance, small earnings exemption and what not for the odd voucher seems overkill to me...
I'm a similar situation, but I have a teenage daughter who, amongst other things, is Aspergers and I can be required to have to drop everything at any moment. I also have quite severe limitations of my own due to health problems. But we really need more income and I cannot go out to work.
At what point does this turn into a job? When does it cease to be pin money and become an income? Are any of you registered self employed and how do you get on with it all? I've been self employed a couple of times, but this stuff is all new to me. When should we start declaring this?
I'm really fed up with two aspects of my environment, well actually one is a tool. I'm fed up with office chair as it's way too low for me and for some reason drops a notch slowly while your in it. I get, hands, wrists, arms, shoulder, back, knees and leg ache because of it. The other is my PC...
Hi, is there a way to find your own posts, or the threads you've contributed to on here? I'm struggling to remember where I posted, what about and when. I don't want to miss replies and I don't want to appear rude by not replying. I've had a look, but couldn't find a way to do this.
