Long term Matched Betting

Hi again all,

So i'm about 3 weeks into matched betting and i've done about 18 out of 69 sports sign up offers on PA. So far I am around £160 in profit. I won't be doing all the sign ups as there are some offers that I'm not really comfortable with such as spread betting etc. However, at the moment it's happy days.

However, I have been browsing the casino and bingo offers and I'm gonna rule them out straight away. They just have no appeal for me and some of the requirements just bore me reading them. Also, I dont want to be taking big risks either. I'd rather lose the potential profit there and be safe.

So, if this is gonna work out long term for me, I'm pretty much gonna be relying on reloads and I'll need to dip my toes in to Accas eventually. Realistically, I'm asking myself if there will be enough profit to warrant the work. Now, if I could hit £300 month i'd be happy. I think i'm gonna need some way to organise the reloads so I know for sure what is available where.

Your thoughts are very much welcome plus any advice on what some of your long term routines are, if you're willing to divulge of course.

Yes you will hit £300+ a month from doing the reloads.

Yes you will end up doing Accas

and Yes you will end up playing around with Horse refunds as well

This is TAX FREE money. Each bet (when you get more into it) will take you minutes to do and then you are done!

There was a £25 risk free ladbrokes offer on racing yesterday that I did and it took me all of 30 seconds to make £21 from it!

The only advice I can give you is to not be scared of trying something new when it comes to Matched Betting as it is, as always, just MATH!

I love your enthusiasm Jon :)

So far, the experience has been great, I've made a few mistakes, but very worthwhile one as I've had the opportunity to learn and I haven't dented my profit too much.
I'm more than willing to invest time to to earn tax free cash for the long haul.

I'm still to do the ladbrokes sign up offer :) which is a big one!

Yes you will hit £300+ a month from doing the reloads.

I can confirm that - I am averaging £750-800 (although £200 of that is typically from Casino Offers)

There was a £25 risk free ladbrokes offer on racing yesterday that I did and it took me all of 30 seconds to make £21 from it!

Using the mini acca method I made £27 on that offer (it did take a couple of minutes though rather than the 30 seconds Jon took)

Thats a superb figure to clear per month. How much time do you invest on average?

Talking of Acca's, specifically refund/lock in, what would your advice be regarding which method to use?

Thanks in advance.

If you want to get used to them I would say just start with lock in as it's endless guaranteed money!!!!

There is a separate thread on Accas where the pros and cons have been discussed recently - worth a read.

Lock-ins are a good start to get you into the method and will typically get you £4 a time. Most people once they get going will do normal sequential accas (lock-ins are a special variant of these) as the rewards are better - I know Jon does a lock-in along side the normal ones to cover his losses on the normal ones.

I have done 4 normal ones this week, have £75 of free bets already and if Chelsea win another £25. Make sure you have done the sign-up offers for BetVictor, Betway, Ladbrokes, Coral, and William Hill as these are good ones for Accas (and on Betway and William Hill doing Accas gets you free bets too)

That is an incredible week!

I'll let you all know how I get on when I start on acca's. Thank you both for the advice.

I'm gubbed from a few of the big players now and I make around £400 a month on reloads and accas. That's probably my max for now, I'd make more if I hadn't lost a couple of the good bookies but since getting into accas my monthly profits are more consistent. I don't do casino or bingo, unless it's a really easy risk-free slot offer and then I only make pennies on them so I rarely bother. I don't do horses much either, so most of my money comes from football.

If I were you I'd just slowly mug the bookies you've got over the summer, maybe do the occasional mug and refund accas to ease into it and then when the football season starts again in August you'll have a few good bookies to work with.

In agreement with you stonecrows, especially re casino and bingo.

Most of my bets have lost in the bookies which is a real bonus, I've done a few mug bets already and will continue to do so in an effort to preserve my accounts.

Considering you've been gubbed from some of the big players, £400 is a very nice consistent profit to have!

Yeah summer time (ie, no football time!) is all about building your profile up with the bookies.

That and INSANE 'in play' tennis offers with Betfred lol

I ALWAYS Make more than £500 from reloads etc. I also do a few risky slot offers etc per month on top of that, £100 of my bank on average (i.e if I lose £100 I stop) and I'm at £1900 ish this month thanks to a £1300 odd win!

It's pretty incredible reading how much everyone makes, it makes me chuckle like a naughty school girl because it truly is incredible what you can achieve with some knowledge.

I know PA does the reload section but does anyone use any other sources to keep on top of their reload offers/routine?

Nah, I pay then £14.99 a month (I have a loyalty bonus applied) so I don't have to manually go through the hassle of looking for offers myself :)

Personally I prefer OddsMonkey (but do also have a subscription to PA - mainly for the acca tool), as they seem to have more reloads (and more user supplied alerts for offers too)

One thing worth mentioning is that you will also get offers personalised to you emailed to you

I often randomly get £5 free bets from PaddyPower and I remember for a month or two that went on every Friday!!

Once you really get going there's no reason why you couldn't have 4 or 5 accas on the go each week which would also bring in constant money ;)

I am looking forward to building up my MB and estmate that within a month or two I'll be starting acca's here and there.

I actually contradicted myself and I tried a bingo offer last night, despite being adamant that I'd steer clear. I stumped up a fiver of my own cash and was prepared to lose it but I ended up £5.15 in profit. Pretty decent for 5-10 minutes work. I'll stick to doing these offers sporadically as per the guides, but no matter which way you look at it, profit is profit.
