I don't really car for the Avengers. I'm happy watching most individual stories such as Iron Man and Thor but them all together bores me. GotG is a refreshing change.

Well what a rubbish day for news

What's equally rubbish is just how much crap is circulating on Twitter

https://www.buzzfeed.com/jimwaterson/manchester-arena-fake-news?utm_term=.ownomQkz8#.tn55bVzm0

There are things from that article (mainly the kids being at the holiday inn one) that I keep seeing Z list celebs ReTweeting over and over and over again

Just shows how hard it is to control everything when you have a platform that is basically like Chinese whispers

Oh my god! I just had a look at that buzz feed link! What a load of rubbish... people should have more consideration and empathy for the poor families and friends of the people that lost their lives or seriously injured.

A terrible day. I'm heartbroken by it, even though I haven't been personally affected by it. Something so close to home, literally down the road from me, really shakes you up.

I've seen a lot of fake news floating around but also a lot of useful posts, I believe it's generally all posted/shared with good intentions....even though it can be misguided.

Hope everyone on here has stayed safe and well, along with their loved ones. My thoughts go out to everyone involved.

I updated my AppLike app last night and now it's giving me barely any points.

For example on one app it shows "in 12:46 min you will get 9 mcoins", that used to be about 100! Why have they reduced it so much without reducing the times or reward amounts.. ridiculous!

First full day off in ages @Jon so I feel your pain but it's been lovely sat in the garden

Well don't know what happened with the weather yesterday but it was back to the Summer of Old with dark skies all day and MASSIVE thunderstorms in Leeds!

Even today it seems a heck of a lot cooler!

Was bloody glorious here yesterday. I forgot to apply my sun tan lotion evenly by the looks of it. I have a red nose, red cheeks and one red patch on me arm! Amazing what sun tan lotion does. Tom on the other hand put lotion on his face, arms etc. Then he got to the allotment, took his top off and promptly forgot HAHAHA He looks RED!

Well this NHS cyber attack doesn't look good

Thing is all I ever see hospitals when I go are old PCs running WindowsXP so doesn't surprise me they can be exposed
Well I work for a mental health trust, and they got rid of all WindowsXP a few years ago, but we still got hit by the cyber attack.

Yay!

I decided to have a look at my credit card limit today and do an increase request. It was set at £4,000 but I thought I'd be a bit cheeky and ask for quite a large increase and see what they counter offer...

Well, its now at £14,500!! Yayyy :)

So now, at 23 years old, I have £22,050 credit (over 3 cards, £14,500, £6800 & £750)

Don't worry, I'm not silly with it, anytime I spend I put it on my spreadsheet so it is all paid off by the time my 0% deal ends in Jan 2019 :)

Are you planning on buying a house anytime soon? If so you'll want to cut those back significantly.

If you're not silly with it why would you apply for more?
I can get a £70,000 loan at 3.3% with my bank, doesn't mean I would :)
