Do any of you have the time to make money offline?

Besides MB, my online journey is relatively new. However, I was wondering do any of you do anything to make money offline?

personally, I love car boot sales. it's easy to make £100+ of a Sunday if you get up early. The one by me you need to queue from 3.45.

I also do some matched betting tutoring, which makes a few quid. One on one tuition teaching people to make a few quid, with the fee paid in the first couple of sign ups. It's usually a win win.

What do you guys do?

I have a 9-5 job lol

That's the only offline money earnings I do these days.

In the past I used to do electoral canvassing for a few weeks each Autumn that paid a few hundred quid

I also used to do a lot of traditional mystery shopping back in the days when it paid more than it currently does which is why so many people have swapped to the smartphone 'gig' task type apps instead

There's a reason job stands for Just Over Broke, Jon, you don't want one of them. ;-)
I thought you did online stuff full time.
Electoral Canvassing is cool, as is exam invigilating at exam times. Register with the council, it usually pays pretty decent.

Yeah loads of people on here do poll clerk work during the election(s) as well , there's a mammoth thread on here about it!

I'm afraid I wouldn't give up my job. I'm 36 now and have climbed my way up into management and the thought of giving all that up isn't something I would want

Although I have reduced my hours to 4 days a week since April to allow me more time to do all things TMS related lol

36? Pssh. Still a young whippersnapper. Each to their own though. I can understand why you'd not want to give it up.
Would you give it up if you could make your online activities pay enough?

My online activities already pay enough, I earn around £3000+ a month in total online so money isn't the issue it's more me thinking I will go mad if I was stuck at home working everyday!

Aye fair play to you, Jon. Thanks for the candidness. Hopefully we will get some more responses. £3000 a month is awesome.

NOTHING worse than turning up to a job that you hate..

Nothing good can ever come of carrying on doing that!

Car boot sales, antique stores. Which ends up with me going to eBay after but still...!

I have a full time job but am in to a lot of the geeky things in life so get a few of the collectible boxes i.e. Lootcrate monthly. The items I don't want I sell online. I also sell pop vinyl that I find in shops at a lower than their value price.

Poppriceguide is a good place to keep track of the prices. Just check out their value when in a shop, if you can get it cheaper then I check eBay for selling values. I make enough every month to make it worthwhile at least!

I used to do music tutoring. Teaching piano but I don't have the time for it anymore. Was decent money though.

Nothing wrong with getting your geek on. I am an avid Ebayer too. Thanks for the tip. Will definitely check it out.
