I got a phone call from a bookie giving me a £5 free bet if I gave them feedback, plus a 100% profit boost for making a bet of max £10. I do like to get free stuff. Does it matter (would it be mean) if I matched betted it? Will they somehow know?

I would would treat it the same way as any other free bet and lay accordingly. Just don't take the mick with odds and pick a mainstream event.
