Well done @Hollyhock64 :) I always start off with good intentions but never get to place that many - yet! It still takes me ages to place one bet, ha ha!

Not done many casino offers myself as I want to know what I'm doing first. Anyone on here know if there are any old 'fruit machine' slots that have reels with cherries, oranges, plums bar etc as I fancy playing on those when offers are on?

I'm away this weekend so can't do anything too involved so have got around £500 in horse refunds placed and sole accas which are finishing today / tomorrow. Who of which look like they are going to both give me £25 free bets :)
What do you mean by "sole" accas, please @Jon?

So, I nagged SportPesa so much for my £10 free Bet it looks as though they've given me two lol! Now just to find something worth betting on before they expire. I'm searching 138 as instructed but not much choice <rolls eyes>

In other news, I just won 10 pence on the TopCashBack thingy ;)

I think that mathsy, computery folk seem to take to matched betting more easily. People like me, who are neither, find it harder going! I know they say you don't need maths and so on but I think it helps.

Once upon a time a Mathsy person posted the following https://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/inde...rs-guide-in-1st-post.5338/page-477#post-91115 which gives you some of the maths for Casino offers. I am £100 up this month on Casino offers, but that includes a £10 loss on offers yesterday.

If you were to deposit and play some money at a casino - without any bonuses etc - and you won, would you just be able to withdraw your winnings without wagering? I am not going to, just wondered how it works.

Yes - this is a thing called Gambling :D. With MB you are generally trying to avoid gambling and are playing the odds in your favour. All casino offers that involve an element of putting your own money at risk are gambling to some extent but you are doing your best to make sure the odds work in your favour. Example would be Boyles. They have a offer where you get 20% cashback of your weekend sports betting as a casino bonus. I 'lost' £100 over the weekend, but as I was MB ing I only really lost £2. That £20 bonus has 5x wagering so in theory I should be able to turn that bonus into at least £2 (ideally £15+) so the odds are in my favour.

I'm interested in trying this. I have accounts already with all the bigger sports betting companies and used all the ones on quidco/topcashback etc. Wondering if this is likely to make my efforts pointless as obviously cant go making new accounts.

It's fine to do it, I started with main accounts already and only £50 :)

With new daily reload offers you just go back to the same bookies over and over again anyway

I'm surprised you haven't already started Risk Free Matched Betting already to be honest being the Money maker that you are :)

You'll be missing out on some easy sign up bonus money, but it's certainly not pointless. There are plenty of recurring offers from week to week that you can do. I did well last week thanks to a lot of horsey offers for the ebor festival and a plethora of offers on Liverpool v Arsenal and the boxing.

Have a look on https://matchedbettingblog.com to get an idea of some of the offers that are around.

Today was my first day matched betting! Thank you Jon for giving me the confidence to sign up - I am doing Profit Accumulator's free trial and won £15 today from Coral/Betfair! There seem to be lots of similar websites out there (I checked out your comparethematchedbetting website), just wondering what everyone uses? They all seem to be fairly alike..

Nice one!

Profit Accumulator is the most popular and they hold your hand A LOT at the start which is what you need :)

I've not done any sign-ups for a couple of months now and have been concentrating on horsey refunds and extra places, casino offers and a few accas. I'm pretty much breaking even which is frustrating, as I'm making nothing for all my efforts.

I wish there was a formula for picking a horse that will drop into that extra place!

Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere in this monster thread, but I've started having ago at the Bet 36 and Paddy 2 up offers. Whenever the team has gone 2 up, there has never been any profit in cashing out because the odds were too low. What sort of odds should I be looking at for these offers, is there a general rule of thumb?

With these you are usually waiting to see if the other team scores (or if you are brave, equalises) and in this case the odds will go back up and some profit can be had
