Well Summer is drawing to a close and TMS is now heading towards it's 'busy season' which is basically people wanting to earn money for Christmas and then people being broke after Christmas and wanting to earn money!

Aside from that I've not got much else going on this month really which makes a change!

Will be time to get the winter duvet out soon enough! lol

Ours came out last night, it's bloody freezing! I'm writing a post about my autumn wardrobe as I type (well, procrastinate).

The child goes back to school on Tuesday so normality will resume.

I have 2 blogging conferences this month, on the same weekend, at opposite ends of the country (as does @katykicker and maybe a couple of others)...looking forward to a grown up weekend with friends who know what I'm talking about lol

Well, the Summer isn't allowed to officially close until we've painted the garage and front doors - so there! Hoping to tackle these tomorrow as we look to be getting 2 consecutive dry days. husband and I have had this week off and actually got quite a bit of house-related stuff done, so pleased about that. I actually love the early autumn. We're back at work on Monday (boo) with son back to school on Tuesday - into Year 4. Where does the time go :-(

Booo! Not allowed to mention the 'C' word yet! Have to wait until at least November! Don't even want to think about it yet although I'm saving up my Amazon vouchers this year, well, started doing that this month so I'm ready, already up to £120 with £50 pending. Just hope I don't spend it :)

My son is year 4 too, well Y3/4 as his school operates split classes (youngest of y4 with oldest of y3). He's looking forward to being back :D

I need to check when I normally start this...it's October isn't it? You still have another month ;)

I'm calling Autumn now, I've had my first PSL (today!), made my first hearty lentil soup last night and my feet are freezing constantly again. So, hey autumn!

Oh and also, piles of crunchy leaves underfoot outside! :D Happy petlamb!

And a very useful skill it is too! Haha!

Definitely agree though. Feeling the cold! Not that my husband would ever agree!

Yeah can't remember when I last watched... early days of it I think! Not my cup of tea these days, kinda feel like all those shows have gone a bit stale.

Then again, I watch comedy reruns so I can hardly talk!

Are the kids all back at school now?

I only tend to realise when my bus home from work takes longer than normal (oh and there are kids on it with school uniforms!)

At 36 I can't even remember my first day at school so it can't have been that memorable and probably involved a sandpit of some kind lol
