That is a good idea. I was thinking of "launch party" with friends as I think quite a few people I know would like it and go from there. I am just not salesy. Keep swinging between do it and don't do it xx

you should give it a go if you are going to buy the stuff anyway

I think the reality with MLM stuff is you do need to be loud and proud and in peoples face so that they buy from you and not one of the 1000s of other women all pitching for the same demographic

Don't try and you will never know

That's what my husband said. I have heard good things and haven't found many people in my area doing it. xx

give it a whirl

If i stopped in my tracks anytime I had a negative thought or apprehension about doing something different I would never get anywhere!

Sorry [member=856]gembaxter25[/member] I'm on holiday so only just seen the replies.

My next party is tomorrow night and already it's going great, lots of interaction and commenting, I've got a party booked from it and one £45 order already - this is before the main event starts :D I had a feeling this was going to be a good one :D

I don't feel that I force people or am pushy, Jon knows I vowed to be the opposite when I started Younique. The thing about Jamberry is that it's a demand kind of products - if someone buys a wrap from you one month then they'll want to buy another the next...or 4 each month in the case of one of my customers. So there is always a repeat purchase, unlike make-up which might last months before another purchase is made.

If you're going to buy the stuff anyway then there is no risk, I don't mind you taking a look at my group, business page and personal page if you like - you'll see how little I push it and I think I'm doing pretty well :D

I've got another 2 parties currently being discussed and I'm hoping for another couple from this one I'm hosting, they seem like the kind of people who love to do these kind of parties :D I also have another recruit who I'm just waiting to make the jump.

My team, well my sponsor's team and I are currently chatting about a team meet up which I'm a little excited about - my teamies are really far away so I doubt they'd make it :'(

Sorry to bump an old ish thread but I was wondering how this worked out for you a year down the line?

I've not looked at MLM yet but interested to know how people find it.

Hey @Bella83 I stopped doing Jamberry at the beginning of this year, a couple of months after I quit Younique. The initial hype was great, a good few orders in the first few months after the company launched but then it all died down to no orders. My sponsor is also no longer doing it and most of her team have stopped, think there is only one of them left.

Apparently, Jamberry is branching out into hair care and makeup too.

This finished off my trial of MLM and never again will I be paying to sell someone else's products ;)

Its a very weird business model that keeps being repeated but people still fall for it.

I wonder what the NBT (next big thing) will be?

Thanks for the update. That's interesting to know. I guess that's the problem selling someone else's stuff. You have no control over a lot of decisions.

@The Reverend I don't know what it will be. If you're on fb it's often whats sold in groups - village groups selling pages etc but I haven't seen much. Younique has quietened down as well.

@Chammy really is the Younique/Jamberry queen. Lots of people start it but very few people actually make any money from it.
