Two Apple Watches and a MacBook

Okay so I thought I would start this diary as it will help me to keep on track. My initial aim is slightly unrealistic (to say the least) but not impossible.

Ideally I would like to buy an Apple Watch for myself at £649. I am prepared to lower this to the £479 version if need to. (£649 will get me the stainless steel Apple Watch with the modern leather buckle. £479 will get me the same watch but with the sport strap.
). My daughter would be happy with the sport version at £300 and I am tempted to get her one in order to enjoy my own watch without envious looks and comments. Plus, I will be able to test out features such as sending my heartbeat and drawing strange pictures as I don't know anyone else who is definitely getting a watch.

My target for these two watches is 10th April as I really want to pre-order as soon as Apple allow.

After this, my goal is to buy my daughter the new gold MacBook for Christmas which will mean saving about £35 per week but I will work on that after 10th April.

For now I am concentrating on 'extra' income which is actually my only income apart from child tax credit which goes to pay mobile phone bills, expenses for my daughter etc. My husband works full time and pays the bills, buys food etc. but I pay for anything our daughter needs and anything for myself.

The ways I intend to earn money are through:

Spare 5
VoxPopMe
OnePulse
Prolific Academic
WhatUSersDo
Ebay
Etsy
Cash Cow (I used to work on Adult Work and took from it one guy who pays me for texts, emails, photos etc. I have never met him and have no intention of doing so).

I am saving money in a separate bank account but with the same bank as my main account so that I can see at a glance what is in each account and can move money quickly between them.

So far I have £28.15 which came from the following last week:

OnePulse : £5

VoxPopMe: £10

Spare 5: £7.15

Ebay : £6.00

You're not thick at all, I didn't explain it well. I worked on Adultwork for some time just generally doing instant message type chat. At the time it was possible to sell text bundles through there too (though I think they have stopped that now). This particular man bought a bundle of 10 text messages and we had a bit of a naughty text session. Obviously, he then had my mobile number (although not my main one) so when he wanted to buy the next bundle, he suggested he pay me direct and basically that arrangement has been in place for about 7 years! That said, he disappears for months at a time so it's not money I can take for granted but he is very good to me for VERY little in return.

Cash Cow is a bit mean to be honest but it basically means someone I can milk for money (get money from relatively easily) though I don't take him for granted and I am mindful of his feelings. Perhaps I should have given him a fictitious name rather than referring to him as Cash Cow as it is rather derogatory.

So you want to make over £1000 before April 10th?

Well that's the plan but I know it sounds outrageous.

I agree it is achievable. I've made around £3,800 this year so far, from a wide variety of sites. The number may be more as I've not looked for a while and adding up roughly.

The past couple of days have brought extra money so I am getting there very slowly :)

Prolific Academic (just cashed out so not in account yet) £24.23

WhatUsersDo - £16

So just over £40 to add to the pot - every little helps ;D

Hi [member=359]Lynnie[/member], did you manage it? Or how close were you? x
Hi Terriixx, yes I did it! Apple were messing around (still are) with the modern buckle though so to ensure getting the watch on release day I went for a stainless steel (the middle one basically) with a white sport band and ordered a Milanese loop separately. I have my daughter's watch but the deal there is to study hard for her exams so she won't get hers until 12th June.

I have £400 towards the MacBook saved so far too!

Sorry if this is someone else I'm referring to but I thought you got them on Apple Finance?

Great incentive for your daughter - bet she is working her arse off. Good news on the Macbook saving too.

Where can I get me an arrangement like this one!!
