yeah i'm interested in knowing this as well
After 10 days I recon;

- used 4 times (eg on a high street on in a shopping centre)
- recon an average submission bring 20p
- I can walk up and down while shopping and capture £2 worth.
- so on about £10 now.

I like hunting these and effort I recon is under 20 seconds (including phone unlock/lock, as I keep the app active). So £2 per 3 minutes work = £40/hr.

Id do tho all day if the vacancies were endless.

Ps about 1 in 20 get rejected once you know what they want.

PPS verification of others can be done anytime, and endlessly. But the rate is 7p per 20 verified and that takes me 3 minutes too. For £1.40 an hour, I'll leave the app out of reach until I'm out near shops-a-plenty.

Well done to those of you earning from this app. I still have a steady stream of spots coming in - it's so nice and easy to use.

The other day I had to go to Screwfix which is on an industrial estate and I snapped a big sign for an HGV driver vacancy outside one of the industrial units which got me 102 points (78p) for practically no effort. It might be worth a little scout of any industrial estates nearby for similar opportunities - makes a change from hairdressers and takeaways!

Agree. I took one of a sign for HGV drivers on a recruitment agency (thinking it would be rejected).. But it gained my almost £1.00... In under 10 seconds.

Sadly taking pics of different roles at the same place is not allowed, else I would have photos of all 40+ adds they had up!!

Is anybody else having issues with the JobSpotter app? I can't open the app on my Galaxy Note8. just had a look on the Play Store and there's a note with today's date to say there is a known issue on certain devices and a fix is on the way. Bummer as there are so many Christmas vacancies at the mo!

The i-phone version is fine. Probably because they haven't updated it for ages ;)

I quite often pick up a few when I'm out doing other jobs,it's a nice little bonus earner
I'm up to £72 in total now without really trying, just wish they paid cash instead of Amazon vouchers but we'll find something to spend them on :D

Don't be afraid to do the same shop twice too, just leave it a month or so.

A few of the good earning local ones (90+ pts each) I tend to make a note of and go back if the ad is still in the window!

The app is up and running again for those of us who couldn't open it :)

Gawd knows what much of this means...?!

"Fixes a crash that a number of our Samsung users were experiencing as a result of a known defect with Google Play Services 10.7.x. The Job Spotter app had some non-functional legacy code that utilized an OCR library that started causing the app to crash when the new Camera First feature tried to launch. Since this code was not being utilized, we've decided to remove all traces of the code from our app rather than wait for Google to provide a fix"

I'm so non-techie. Well done JobSpotter for sorting it. And my earnings are all still there safe and sound

My most successful shops in terms of payout seem to be chicken shops or hairdressers/nail salons.

Please feel free to add additional shop types that we could target!

What is the big thing with this app? (On the FB MS forum they call it "MS crack" lol. )Seems like very time consuming with low pay for the time invested??

That's exactly what I thought when I first loaded it but I've got £80 worth of Amazon vouchers now for very little effort. Eg I walked down to the doctors on Monday and did 6 on the way, True they only pay around 75p on average but they literally take 1 minute each, snap sign, snap shop front, press upload, move on. I usually pick up a few while I'm doing other higher paid tasks just as a little extra.

Only disadvantage is that they don't offer cash but I had an idea yesterday. If Roamler do more Amazon tasks I could pay for the purchases with vouchers and get reimbursed with cash!

Cheers Mike, yeah still seems a lot of time consumption to me , but then i am 90% of the time behind the wheel, just downloaded it to try for times i am wandering about, but as i see this one 10 minute Paddy task would be the equivalent of 3 or so hours of work on this

Yes, I suppose in your situation it's less useful. I do a lot of walking now I only work part time (winding down towards early retirement hopefully) so it works quite well.
Plus of course as they pay in vouchers you don't have to include it on your tax return ;)

Has anyone made a withdrawal yet to see if it works?
Yes, I've made 3 so far for a total of over £50 and they appear in your Amazon account after a couple of days. It works very well, I've got another £34 to cash out now so it's not bad for little effort!

I did a couple of these recently... what do points mean? I cant find anything on app to tell you how much you have earned

I calculated one point to be worth approx 0.75p. They have an unfathomable algorithm to work out what each spot is worth. If you do small local businesses they average around 80 to 90 points each but if you do a shop that's part of a chain such as Argos they only pay a few points as their reasoning is that the jobs are already on line on the company website.
