Is gubbing with exchange markets a thing? Everything I'm placing just now keeps losing at the bookies but winning at exchange (Smarkets).
exchanges will never gub you

As Jon says - they will never gub you (Betfair Sportsbook will do, but never the exchange). Also you 'winning' into Smarkets is what they want too as that means you are paying them their commission.

Here's one for matched betting newbies. Smarkets keep flashing up a referral screen at me whenever I log in so thought I might as well use it.
Smarkets is another betting exchange like betfair but has the added bonus of only charging 2% commission. Like betfair you only pay commission when your lays win.
The only drawback is it doesn't carry quite as many markets as betfair. I find these two exchanges compliment each other well and cover every eventuality between them.

Sign up with my referral code and we both get a £10 risk free bonus. https://smarkets.com/signup?referral=nepo68

Should you need help using the bonus please just ask.

I quite like that Maji Wilds slot for the Lads bonus. Been up on initial wagering both times I have done it.

I quite like that Maji Wilds slot for the Lads bonus. Been up on initial wagering both times I have done it.

Is that the Ladbrokes £5 Casino Bonus offer when you bet on Premier League games? I thought it had to be done on roulette so didn't do it, and could not work out the t&cs for it.

Does anyone know if I can play it on the slots then?

If so, it states no more than £1.50 a game (spin?) and also something about when the bonus gets to £1 - sorry, can't find t&c's now.
Is it best to still do minimum price, maximum rows?

Any reply would be appreciated as I think my Bonus might run out today, thanks :)

Anyone tried to cashout with SportPesa and had trouble with getting their documents accepted to be able to withdraw?
I have submitted all the id requirements but now have come back and said they don't accept the proof of my address I sent them. I sent them a pdf version of a recent bank statement which I have used for all the other bookies and was accepted no problem at all.
Surely that should be good enogh and they shouldn't be refusing to accept it?
They said they need a clear photo jpeg version of a utility bill/bank statement within the last 6 months.
Problem is everything I have is pdf versions only of bank statements and utility bills etc are just in my husband's name so won't be any good.
Anyway I have e-mailed back to ask what alternative I can send.
Surely they should accept what I have available and most people only get pdf versions of bills etc and online too.
Really seems like they are being difficult and extremely picky.
Any ideas anyone?
If they become difficult is there a way of complaining to someone so I can get my winnings off of them?
It is £60 and obviously want it back without too much hassle.

Hi, @Blackpepper1 :) Can you change the pdf to a jpeg format instead? There is software that usually enables you to do this - will have a look online and post back on here if I find anything.

Might need to know if you are doing it on a phone or pc etc. (I'm only used to pc based stuff)

If you take a photo of the statement, does it show up as a jpeg anyway? I know photos I do on my digital camera are in jpeg format. Might be the easiest solution.

Thanks. Thinking if I take a picture as JPEG of the pdf version that would work so could try it and see if it is acceptable. If not I am stuck.
The only option in Nationwide is to open it in pdf format.
Was thinking maybe they want jpeg so that you have something as proof coming through to a postal address rather than just an online version. But that is a really old idea and allot of people don't get paper bills via post anymore so the bookie needs to be able to be a bit flexible.
I will try taking a picture of the pdf and save as JPEG and see if it gets accepted or not.
I have queried it by e-mail but not had a response yet.
Got to get my money out of there really as soon as possible.
If they are going to be so awkward I don't want to use them again.

Depending on the version of acrobat you have you can save as .jpg and this will save each page as a separate .jpg file - I have done this myself with my Nationwide statements
