Hi, I am Anne. I am a recently retired nurse. I have been looking at ways to still afford treats for myself and my family. I used to sell books on Amazon hence the name and am now trying out mystery shopping. I am hoping to get help with technology from here. I look forward to getting to know you all and trying to earn money together.

Hi all!

I'm Ruth and I've been making money online full-time for about seven years now.

I do freelance copywriting, eBay reselling, I've got a few relatively passive income streams in the form of online courses that I run teaching copywriting to business owners, matched betting, and I've also recently started blogging about what's worked for me over the years when it comes to making money online.

So it's safe to say that I keep my fingers in plenty of pies

I always love to meet likeminded folks who are their money making journey, so I'm excited to be here to learn and contribute my knowledge where I can!

Hi I'm Pauline
I'm new to the Money Shed after a recommendation from a friend. I've been self employed in direct sales for the past 7 years after a 20yr career in retail. The direct sales business was going really well until the first one withdrew from the country, then the replacement company I joined went down the tubes. Involved with another one which is great but I've lost my passion for it. Have a 7yr old child with a huge list of activities and wants so would like to continue to be stay at home mum with an income of £500+ a month with the flexibility I enjoyed with direct sales.
I've been an active ebay seller for years and use it to fund decorating projects or wants of the small child!
I've recently signed up to Roamler/Be My Eyes/Task 360/Spotr and some others that don't seem to have much going on. Have completed 700 xp with Roamler so am going to attempt some tasks tomorrow, perhaps book a holiday since that's paying out £12.
How long do the apps take to authorise tasks, did one with Spotr on Monday night and it's still under review?
I've also signed up with ESA Retail and have done a number of Mystery Shops in the last week. 2 in Asda, 1 in Aldi and opened a bank account at BoS, those should pay £56 in total. Again these are sitting pending evaluation, does anyone know how long they take to review them. Don't want to do a whole load then find out they get rejected.
Have also signed up for Leapforce but I believe that can take a couple of weeks for them to get back to you.
I'm really not keen on matched betting. Does anyone else have any other tips?

There's LOADS on here to get you earning as much money as you can in the time you have spare so you shouldn't have any trouble with earning a lot of money from here

Hi, I'm Nigel. I still work full-time and I don't have a particular earnings target. I'm just looking to earn extra money, so that I can bring forward the time at which I can reduce my hours to part-time work, or even retire!

I'm currently signed up to half a dozen mystery shopping sites, as well as the Jobspotter/Streetspotter and Field Agent apps.

I also do surveys on Prolific Academic and Populous Live to earn some extra money, and e-rewards to collect Avios/Virgin air miles

I'm planning on moving into matched betting too-just as soon as I can set aside a few hours to study what's involved!

Hi, I'm Jess am brand spanking new to TMS. I have dabbled on and off with surveys for a year or so before realising that I really need to get smart about the ones which are worth doing and not worth doing. In the past 5-6 months I have cashed out on the ones which aren't worth it and closed my accounts. I have pretty much ended up with the key ones listed on TMS already bar Pinecone which I never seem to be able to get on to!

I really want to earn extra cash to pay down my mortgage, go part time and maybe even retire early when I get that far! I've spent most of the last few months selling stuff on eBay as I had a major declutter, but this is coming to an end now and I need new income streams. I did do a little bit of matched betting, but just didn't have the time with eBay and surveys and didn't enjoy it that much. I am sure I'll get back to it at some point, but at the moment I am investigating Swagbucks, Mintvine, the mystery shopper type apps (Task360, Streetbees etc etc) and considering Leapforce. Always looking for new ideas, so currently lurking around the forum to see what other people are up to!

Just thought I'd say hello. Thanks for the welcome emails Jon, I've made a started at working through those and the toolkits and the seemingly endless ways of making money online. I'm not new to some of those so mindful of picking the highest earners first.

I'm no spring chicken and want to build some passive income streams while I've still got the capacity to do so. At the moment I really want to get into Blogging properly and writing in general. I've played with blogs for a few years and never got anywhere with them but it's time to get more serious. I've had a lot of experiences in life and feel I have a lot to write about.

I suppose we'll chat soon in the forums.

I would suggest you have a look at our beginners guide to blogging toolkit as it takes you from setting up your own self hosted blog through to earning the most amount of money you can from it

I always wanted to get into programming but just didn't have the maths brain for it!!

Sounds like you are already off to a fantastic start

Matched Betting will take less and less the longer you do it so yeah set a few hours to get started but you will soon be a dab hand at doing it

I would say all of your goals are achievable. In the last year I've managed to go down to part time in my job due to how much you can earn from home. It makes for a much better Work / Life balance!
