So as expected July was a bit of a write off - £236.23 (£161.23 cash/£75 vouchers). I knew this was coming as the LF invoice that went in on the 1st July was my lowest ever but also it was a ridiculously busy month here too so I struggled to get as much time in as I'd like - need a few extra hours every day lol! Trying not to get too downhearted about the direction my earnings have taken as the invoice I submitted this month was significantly healthier, although august is going to tricky with the school holidays. Will do what I can and get stuck back in when September rolls around. :)

Hi @Justdesserts :). Wow, your daily life sounds hectic.

Have you looked at research opinions? they seem to have some better paid projects at times:

http://www.researchopinions.co.uk/projects/

I am just about to post one on here about a Lifestyle project. It is online for 30 mins x 2 days and pays £35. You do need a smartphone though, so unfortunately it is no good for me personally.

Do you belong to any forums for autism and the other health problem to see if they can point you in the direction of buying equipment and so on at cheaper prices or anything?

Is it possible to 'shop around' when going private?

Good luck with everything. I am glad you post about things you have tried, this helps others too.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yep, yep and yep, I am with Research Opinions, several forums/groups for the kids needs and always shop around. What we all did before the internet I've no idea lol! Not sure how much use to anyone my ramblings will be but thank you, I will attempt a more detailed update at some point as I'm wrapping up a few of the lower paying bits in order to drop them and hopefully move on to some better jobs!

June came to a disappointing total of £389.71 (£289.71 cash/£100 amazon vouchers), nowhere near target. :(

This was mainly down to the lack of LF work which went even further downhill in June so this months pay will be even lower. Am applying for other work in several places to bridge the gap as I've just had a massive clinical psychologist invoice to pay and want to buy some therapeutic equipment next. Every penny is better than nothing but I can't deny it's frustrating to have got to target once and then had it slide through my fingers.... crossing everything something else turns up soon. :)
Good luck Justdesserts enjoyed reading your posts.

Thanks, have just had some good news in the form of my Leapforce contract being renewed - phew! :)

I remember those days, waiting to see if other people got renewed as well lol

Great to see that you're getting on well with them, it's excellent money and it's not that hard once you get into the swing of it all!

August total £390.16 (£315.16 cash/£75 vouchers), actually not too bad given it's the summer holidays, although it was bolstered by my annual car boot which definitely helped! Really hoping to do better in September though, my LF invoice submitted today isn't the best as the good old batch size issues have been back but I have got a couple of high payout threshold sites almost at target which will hopefully give me a boost. I keep applying for projects all over the place too so try to remember that something new could turn up at any point - trying to be positive!

I said I'd update about what I'm actually doing but I don't think it's actually changed that much....

Always looking for new opportunities and applying to any projects I qualify for, crossing things that something good will turn up!

It's fascinating seeing the list of things that you've dropped as times go on.

To be honest it's the sort of ones I would expect to be let go such as Instagc, Shop and Scan etc. as you become more exposed to higher paying work that is more worthy of your time.

September total £389.68 (£339.48 cash/£50.20 vouchers), no more than last month but a better cash to voucher ratio which is something. I've also finally reached cashout on yoursaypays and populuslive but both took a full 9 months so I'm binning them, the surveys on populuslive were pretty good but not enough of them and too high a cashout! Have just submitted my best ever LF invoice as they seem to have finally fixed their issues so quite optimistic for October. :)

Thank you. I've had a couple of usability jobs with utest but have never been offered the sandbox so can't be any help there, sorry!

Very good News. As I just passed my sandbox, I would suggest you really spend a bit of time to read instruction and every link of the uTest university. Try to dig deeper to the website and search for more error message will bring you more valuable bug. There are a lot of computer people there, BUT, if they don't follow the instruction they could land on last on the board just because they know toooo much hahaha.

Thanks, I've already submitted it. Think it helped that I read all the uni articles several times over when I first joined so I only needed a quick refresh.... although having said that I don't know if I've passed yet lol!

November total £496.10 (£431.10 cash/£65 vouchers), my second highest total since I started! December is very unlikely to be as good as it's a crazy busy month and time is going to become a real problem but then come the new year I can get really stuck in again. Can't believe it's approaching a year since I started this!

So a year on from when this all started and time to take stock. My December earnings came out at £374.29 (£329.54 cash/£44.75 vouchers) which means my grand total for 2017 was

£4151.71 (£3377.76 cash, £773.95 vouchers)

I'm not too disappointed with this although my target was £500 per month so £6000 for the year, I think I learnt quite a lot along the way. Would definitely like to get closer to the target in 2018 though which I would have been quite confident of doing except complicated just got even more so here and I now have my youngest child at home full time again. Time is therefore going to be an issue more than ever and I need to be much more picky about the work I do, rather than just trying to do everything! Not quite sure how this will look at the mo, will post again when I've got something resembling a plan!

I think you have done really well to make an additional £4k with how much you have going on. Good luck for 2018.

You earned over £4000 online in a year where you were still learning an awful lot!!

You should be very proud of that, heck over on the green site there is a challenge for people to earn only £2018 in a year!!! You've covered that twice!!!
