Google recently created an AI child where an artificial intelligence can actually create its own artificial intelligence child. In tests this child has been seen to perform quite a bit better than human designed artificial intelligence algorithms. Is this the robot uprising?
Not yet this technology is still in its infancy and has a long way to go. But the potential applications are too many to count. Any profession that requires humans to memorize patterns or facts can most certainly be replaced by this technology later even if not soon.

I don't get why we haven't begun to use devices to keep our knowledge for us. Such an advanced technological advance not used in schools and such. And I believe ai won't 'take over' as it will. I suppose you wouldn't have to pay them. But the economy would collapse. So governments would prevent this from happening by pricing them extortionatly or destroying it.

What was it that guy in Jurassic Park said.... They were so occupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

Soon everything will be designed by computers, built by robots, distributed by drones and paid for in a currency that doesn't exist.

Am I the only person who can imagine a post Apocalypse Mad Max world where google has emerged to become the dominant and most aggressive force on the planet, ruling entire countries.
