Hi all
Just thought I'd let you know how it's going:
Prolific - have managed to do 4 studies so far but they're all for pennies i.e. under £1. 2 approved & 2 awaiting review. Little by little, bit by bit. Wondering if they're smaller amounts as I'm new, or because I'm old :p
Panelbase - waiting for my £10 cashout (was already signed to this) & have another £4.20 earned on the way to next cashout.
My Survey - need about 100 points to cash out £10.
Newvista (?) - can't actually remember what it's called - did one very long survey on Sunday but can't find where it says how much I earned.
Receipt Hog - slowly slowly catchee monkey (piggy). Just steady trickling receipts, think it'll be a fair while before I can cash out my first fiver!
Roamler - done a few XP tasks but stuck on the next one as I have no idea how to take a screen shot on my phone.
Matched betting startup fund - my daughter has paid me back £10 she owes me and one of my sons owes me £43.50 - both these amounts going into my kitty .
Onwards & upwards! ;-)

Doing well... for Roamler task, what type of phone do you have?.. If a Samsung place your hand on left extreme of screen (like a karate chop) and swipe hand right (Apparently holding power button and home button also does it (not on mine) if you have iphone Its also press home button (big one in middle at bottom) and power button (one on right of fone as you look at screen) at same time

I have a Samsung S6 Edge - karate didn't work :D I asked one of my sons when he got home from work and he just did it straightaway even though he's an iPhone guy. Home button and power button at the same time did the trick :)

Evening all - hope everyone is well :)
Still getting to grips with everything but Panelbase have paid me my £10, Quidco are sending me £10.20 and I've just cashed out £10 paypal with My Survey - so the matched betting kitty is growing slowly. No sign of the money my son owes me yet, that'll probably be at the end of the month.
Vypr - finally had some steers, so on the way, this will be a slow burner but worth doing
Rece-ipt Hog - another slow burner but again worth- doing
Roamler - There's a £2 paid task not far away, just need to find time to get there
Prolific - done a few surveys now and up to about £7+ (some pending) but most of the time it says 'unknown eligibility', so I log in again and it says 'ineligible'. I will keep going though as the ones I've done are interesting.
Have also signed up to:
Curious Cat - early days
Streetbees - they want me to do videos of what I'm cooking, and also video myself talking about it. That's not going to happen LOL so I'll see if they have anything not involving self videos over the next week or so, if not that app will be going.
Field Agent - nothing doing at the moment
Be My Eye - some missions in another town but I can't get there until next weekend so will have to see if they're still available then.

I'm quite pleased with my first week - let's see how the second one goes :)

Hi @JLizzieB - that's fantastic! I really should be organised enough to write down what I'm doing in the same way you have here. Thank you for the inspiration!

Which site would you say you are enjoying the most and having the most success with?

You're doing amazingly well @JLizzieB

Give it a few weeks and you'll find that list will go down quite a bit as you drop low paying work in favour of higher paying stuff so don't worry if that's the case as it's perfectly natural.

Hi JLizzieB
Even if you are not making big money it all gives you experience and, in my opinion, it trains the mind to look out for all types of opportunities. I have tried lots of various ways to make some extra 'dosh' with some doing well and others not so well. These days I am mainly into buying and selling so, there are all types of openings out there. I wish you lots of luck in the future

Prolific is my favourite survey site but I don't get that many either. I change age brackets in a month and do wonder how that will affect things. Another favourite thing is what users do. They pay £5 for about 20 minutes and it turns out that I really enjoy moaning about websites. I signed up to a few market research companies for focus groups. It took a couple of months until I was suitable but they pay really well and are fun.

Hi I am older than you and have had a couple of higher paying prolific studies. After a while you qualify for the dementia tests. I also did one and was invited to keep a cat food diary for a week and was given a £4.00 bonus. I like job spotter. You get about 50p for photographing a hiring sign at a business and a further 50p if you want it for verifying other people's submissions. I have not tried panel base. I help at a local charity shop and often look up the price of things on ebay. Qmee gives me a few pence for my trouble. I look forward to seeing how you get on. Trying to take a screenshot was why I joined the money shed.

I've bagged over £5 this week just with curious cat, prolific about £8 this week, another which is $5 cash out is one pulse! And, the app is really cool and you only answer a few questions to get paid for each pulse, there aren't many in a week, but you build up your pulse paying amount by answering quick questions, the more of these you do, the higher your level goes, so you get paid more for each one. Like I say, not many but they are super quick! And all about a range of topics in life so not boring either. With these 3 I've made about £23 this month. Its not a big income, but not bad for when you have a spare few minutes. Oh, almost forgot. And about £6 on Mobrog surveys, bit boring but £4 cash out.

For speed on building points and cashout - I would say Curious Cat at the moment :)
Oops I forgot Be My Eye which I've been signed up to for a week - only done a couple but got over £8 pending, I missed out on the biggie weekend jobs as I was going straight out after work on Friday and by the time I got home they were all gone. Hopefully next time they do it I'll be around and able to participate :)

Well done :)
I've just cashed out £10.65 on Curious Cat which is 2 weeks worth, I'm pretty happy with that, I like the app.
Prolific I've just cashed out £9.03 - I'm unknown eligibility all the time and then ineligible - I've just emailed them to see if there's a problem.
I will try One Pulse :)

Hello :)
I've emailed Prolific to see if there's a problem, if not, they obviously don't like the answers to the prescreening questions :D
I will checkout Job Spotter & Qmee but I don't want too many apps at the moment - I just uninstalled Field Agent and Street Bees as nothing doing, well apart from the one they wanted me to video myself cooking - err....no :D

What is emotion miner? o_O
I did a focus group a few years ago and got £40 cash for it, I'd like to do a few more, will investigate, thank you :)

Thanks Jon, I'm trying a few different things at the moment to get my matched betting kitty up & running.
I will need it as I've been told my hours are being cut from full time to 25 hours a week, this is going to be really hard to manage so I need to start the MB to make up the difference!
