A more modest £58 for me, but a lot calmer too. I also ended up with not quite as much time to focus on catching some good matches to chase refunds as I would have liked, so that didn't help.
Despite an early Exchange hit-hiccup when Presenting Percy won, I thankfully clawed back later in the day so Exchanges are only about £70 down overall so that's a relief too.

I think there's quite a difference in terms of earnings if you are off work vs being at work.
Those £25 ladbrokes offers require quite a bit of concentration let along hunting for horse refunds via Match Catcher where you need to be uber quick with your mouse clicking figure to place those qualifying bets with only a few pence QL.
I know there is literally no way i could do any of that if i was at work or worse, was stuck using only my phone for the day to do everything!

Definitely. This is my first year matched betting cheltenham while working and I haven't enjoyed it at all. One thing I've really missed is watching the races on telly. Its impossible to get all the bets on in the morning or evening the night before as the odds can be pretty pants that far ahead.
I have done the bulk on the phone so far this year and it's been ok.
I have noticed the odds have not been as good as last year when it easy to get on a load of matches the night before and first thing in the morning.
I haven't been able to get on as many of the standard refunds as I'd like, but have hit a couple still, and done all the risk free offers etc.

In good news for me, I just used the last race to use up loads of freebets and spread the liability out with all the nice odds available and all 6 bookies lost to the exchange so my bank is healthy for tomorrow!
Odds seemed better across the bookies today, still no refund bets / risk free winners / Hi5 / and not even a BOG today for me - up £85 with £25 of free bets tomorrow. Up £155 ish across the first 2 days ho hum.
£134 today and £81 yesterday. Only researched this on monday as wasn't going to do it. I made a couple of errors but didn't cause me to much loss.
I only started MB 13 days ago and made over £400 in total.

The lads £25 was a winnings boost if the horse you backed won - you wont get a free bet if it lost.

Ah so it was! Most have been refund if bet lost so got confused. So the Ladbrokes offer got me about £9 in exchange.

and yeah as said above. PaddyPower is refund if the fave wins on the first 4 races so for the sake of £40 of bets with only a few pence QL I would just bung a tenner on all of them
