Not so lucrative this year.. but not to say they won't pick up.. far better than traditional MSing.. those companies need to learn from apps.. no ridiculous unpaid hours typing reports just to get a rejection for not using a full stop lol

Good to see others to try on here , I’ve been a bit nervous to try any of the photo ones so far , will need to take my brave pills & move away from the surveys

You'll be fine

It's normal to be nervous the first time you do something but once you do it one time and see how much you can earn compared to surveys you will be all over it!

Hey all!
I'm Ethan, university student in Wales who doesn't speak welsh so part time jobs are practically non-existent around me, so any way I can pay my degree I am pretty desperate for and here seemed like the perfect place!

I’ve signed up to ipsos mystery shopping but it’s saying I need to update my shopper profile . I’ve done this at least 5 times , updated the photo , clicked save etc but it never saves the details , just clears it all & tells me I need to update profile before I can proceed , does anyone else have similar issues?

I found that I had to complete the whole profile in one go as well as upload my image. When it wouldn't save, it was because it had cleared some of the info I had given earlier and I hadn't noticed. Try scrolling through every single item on the profile survey and checking that it isn't highlighting anything as being missing then upload your photo at the end. I think that's how I got round it. Let us know how it goes.

Hello, my real name is Helen and I'm 36. I work full time doing shift work and thanks to the government putting a pay freeze on I've only had a 1% pay rise in the last 5 yrs which sucks. I'm on my own so no other income and by the end of the month it's beans on toast. I'm trying to find many new ways to make extra income including starting up jewellery making which is also very relaxing and self rewarding. I'm looking forward to learning new ideas and learning from everyone else here. :)

I’ve managed to get a bit further forward this week as I’ve managed to dig a laptop out the cupboard so I can use that as well as my phone . That’s allowed me to get a few phone calls booked through IPSOS. Does anyone have any other suggestions for sites that are good using a laptop?

Hi everyone!

My names Abby :) I live in Hereford with my partner and 2 year old son. I currently work part-time as a healthcare assistant with a long-term goal of being a Paramedic. However I'm currently working on paying my £1000 debt off before I buy my first car and then I can work on applying for my dream job! I started doing the comps and then stumbled upon all the money making posts on here. Joined a few sites/apps in the last month and have made £261, thanks to TMS! :D

I'm still quite a newbie and need to spend a few hours properly reading through everything, but my goal is to earn £1000 this year from apps/surveys etc, to pay my debt off and start saving up for a car. I just want to thank everyone who uses TMS and all the advice and tips given, all the help and support from you all is so wonderful and beneficial to so many people. I've just recommended this to a friend who really doesn't have much money and is a full-time carer to her husband, and another friend who is a single mum.

Anyway, thanks again and look forward to reading/posting more!
Abby :)

Thanks for recommending us @strawbubbi

TMS doesn't advertise in the traditional 'paid' sense and so only grows through word of mouth when people are as kind as you are to share our details about how much we can help people ;)

Hi,

My Name is John, I joined the forum today!

I am Father to my two girls first, an engineer by day but I am also a keen student of the online side hustle. I have built websites before for clients and myself. I have run niche sites, blogs and also I have released a couple of digital products (many years ago)...

My life took a turn when I got Menieres disease several years ago and I stopped all my online activities after suffering with severe Tinnitus, hearing loss and balance. After several bad years with this health issue I have found a happy medium with it now and I am accepting the illness.

So, I decided to get back into blogging again. I have started a new blog and I plan on growing it now. I found this forum via Instagram.

I also dabble in eBay and Amazon FBA and I am planning a private label product release soon on the Amazon platform.

I am a keen user of Wordpress and I study online marketing techniques, happy to be part of this great community and will help out where I can.

Regards,
John

Hey everyone, first day on here today! I left the rat race from being an Ops Director about 18 months ago, and have merrily not worked since! Now a step mum to a 5yr old and a 13 yr old, so I thought I would give online working a go. Made probably about £150 a month so far on Surveys, Rev, MTurk, Clickworker etc. Looking for other ways to supplement or household income. Just joined whatusersdo, and thinking about Leapforce, but I hear they can take a while to get anything through. Lovely to meet you all. Jx

bet careful with MTurk. it ONLY pays in amazon.com vouchers which means that even if you buy anything from the USA side it's gonna cost a bomb to send over!

Hi Jon, yep, fortunately my cousins and Aunts live in the States, so we just trade:) The global shipping with Amazon Global isn't too bad really either. There are things on their that my other half, who loves American stuff loves, so we have used it. Its a shame they won't change to allowing you to use all Amazon sites really, as its such a good earner. I can easily earn $20 dollars a day if I put the effort in!. I just wish the other micro task sites were as good paying! Haven't had anything on Prolific for over a week, worried it's drying up!

Ah that's good to hear about the relatives.

Looking at what you've said you are doing it seems to be alot of quite low paying work. I would look at dumping all that for the likes of Leapforce like you've said, then do Risk free matched betting and throw some smartphone task apps like bemyeye, roamler etc into the max and you should easily clear £1200 a month without any major issues and you won't be sweating away for a few pence on each survey which is what I'm trying to get you away from ;)

TBH I really like doing the surveys when I'm just watching the TV, don't have to think about them too hard! Won't do matched betting as I am against gambling (previous family issue!) Will defo try Leapforce when I get round to updating my CV. Might have a butchers at Roamler, but I'm not really out and about much, so not sure how good it would be for me! Thanks for all the suggestions though:)
