Would love some advice on mystery shopping please! Tia
Mystery shopping doesn’t pay what it once did to be fair but if that’s the way you want to go there are a load of companies and links around it mentioned in our beginners guide to earning online toolkit
https://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-from-home-toolkit/

To be honest your time will be better spent doing work for smartphone task app companies like Roamler, bemyeye etc which pay a lot more for a lot less of your time!

I decided to give MS a try a while back TBH the fees are so low that it's not worth it. Yep you might get a pub meal or subway out of it but the reports you need to write are detailed and time consuming. For instance - pub meal. Reimbursement - up to £16. Then they 'pay ' you 2.50. There's quite a lot on these assignments to remember and the reports can take ages. I don'tthink it is worthwhile for 2.50. One of the pub chains only reimburses up to 9.50- their reports are extremely in depth. You can't use your phone to make notes and the area manager of the pub you've shopped will compare everything you report against the CCTV

But if you still fancy it i would sign up with Market Force, Retail Active, Tern. There's loads more but I've done shops for these three and never had any problems with payment

On the flip side you can get some regular gigs paying you for things you would be doing anyway. There's dozens of companies and it's a case of registering with each one to see if they have anything which fits. I do a supermarket one which pays an £8 fee plus £3 towards the cost of my shopping. You can't revisit for three months, but I have enough sites nearby to do three of these every month. When you get experienced you can churn the reports out fairly quickly as well. At the other end of the scale there's audio and video visits which can pay 3 figures, typically at banks and building societies. I'm not confident enough to do these though, as there's no hiding place if you don't quite follow the brief or say the wrong thing.

I've actually done these bank tasks and honestly, they are more boring than anything lol

Like you say pay is decent though (or was at the time!)

Ok I done a search but couldn't find a forum or threads that specifically state good MS sites?

Can someone list some good ones please. I am signed up to a couple but not getting much and would love more.

Thanks

Yep used to do a couple for them...for some reasons for the past 2 years it's been so quiet for me, and no emails, logged in the other day to check if my account is still there and it is
I've never had emails as such only when they are desperate and need something doing. I check regularly to see what's available.

Best 'gig' I ever got through MF was a weekend away to Spain with an airline with hotels + food allowance + flights all paid for..

Writing the report was not fun though lol

My husband loves the market force subway tasks when I do them. A free lunch for him. Never seen anything as exciting as a holiday, although we usually get loads of free pet stuff through retail active mystery shops.

Several years ago I used to complete fast food mystery shops. I've not done anything since then with regards to mystery shopping.

Does anyone still make a decent amount each month from MS and what are the best sites to join as a shopper?
