I'm just very thankful it came back in the first place, easy money honestly! just got paid for my transcribing and audio validation today, only £25 and they culled about 60 of my transcriptions (literally about 1/3? I've done over 4800 text audio validations, i think I know the guidelines off by heart by now.)I managed 43, only managed 31 before but a nice easy $129. I hope it comes back soon

No, I wasn't the sesame Street one. Lol.I believe not everyone gets all the same tasks, try them if you ever get them though, really good fun. They were pretend phone calls as a customer or an agent to a pretend call centre.
These are absolutely horrible when you get a long one with multiple silences and a soft voice which barely registers a wave.
I didn’t think you had to segregate bits that were like really quiet noises??
The bits within the actual boxes you do.
I just went along with the 'if it's more than 2 seconds of silence' rule. I'm talking about the long periods of silence between speech within the boxes. Maybe you were lucky enough not to get any like that ^^
Right that's what I'm saying, though. I was bemaoning the particular one I was on because it was 6 minutes long and there were so many silences like that I had to edit endlessly ;(
Think I know who you mean, there was one bloke, softly spoken, Barkleys bank guy, who was all uhms and arhhs, took him 10 seconds to ask for date of birth, lots of 2+ second gaps in the middle of sentencesRight that's what I'm saying, though.
